Sorry for the delay, I was moving and it took me a couple days to finish everything up. Never really had the time to sit down and write an article, but now I'm done so we don't need to worry about that taking up anymore time 🙂

Foreign Affairs
The current state of Foreign Affairs in eMalaysia is strong in some spots, but weak in others. The state of our relations with our more traditional allies and the more obvious choices appears to be lacking. Nations like ePH and eSG(our closest neighbors) from the past as well as the nations of Luna have worsened over the past few months. On the other hand, less traditional allies such as Indo, Pakistan and other small nations around the world have picked up.

Overall though, our relations with the world still aren't very good. Firstly, we can't forget about the allies that stood by us in the past(i.e ePH, eChina, eROC and to an extent eSG) to align ourselves with new nations. Even if one of those nations is Indo, we shouldn't simply forget those that were there when Indo wasn't. I'm not saying we should drop our relations with Indo, or that Indo should be demonized for their past actions. As I've said in the past, I'm fine with forgiving eMalaysia's past with Indo and moving on. I am NOT however up for forgetting it. Yes relations with Indo are good now, but in the future they could revert back to their more imperialistic approach to the game and we need to be ready in case that happens. Sticking with our old allies is a good way to insure that we still have friends if that time should ever come.

I've already spoken to Myntax Urne about being MoFA for the month and he showed interest. The downside to this is, we don't have CS passes, so he won't have eMY citizenship during the term. However, this could also be beneficial. He'll be immersed in another country which would strengthen those ties as well as show that eMalaysia is willing to bridge the gap between nations. For those of you that don't know Myntax, he took over the MoFA position in the time of Fruitcommando and turned the office around. That he succeeded under Fruitcommando(despite the amount of crap Fruit buried us in) is a further testament to his capabilities as MoFA. He was able to strengthen our ties in nations such as China and ePH and also expand the Office into areas of the eWorld that eMY had never been to, most notably some South American nations.

My policy of Foreign Affairs will be a sort of holding pattern with some small steps forward. We've lost a lot of ground in some countries that I want to regain, but more than anything I want to maintain the ties that we have now.
