[Jhorlin] Once more unto the breach, dear friends - Intent to run for CP

Countrymen,

I, Jhorlin, am announcing my intention to stand once again for the office of Country President in February 2011. With the challenges the eUK is facing across the board, in terms of military affairs (which are a tad chaotic at present), PTO threats, economic difficulties, and the lack of any firm international alliance, I feel that a strong leader is once again required to put things back on track. Once again, I want to rise to this challenge and attempt to steer things back on track.



There are a number of changes I'd like to make as a result of my previous experience as CP in December. I'll release these plans over the course of 3 manifestos to follow, in the form of.

1. Domestics & Cabinet Applications
2. Economics
3. Foreign + Military Affairs

Deputy Prime Minister
Having prior experience in office will be of great benefit to me this time around - I'll not be thrown in at the deep end. Having said that, I'm aware that I can still improve and I'm keen to do so. For that reason, I'd like to announce my running mate as somebody with a great deal of experience across the eRepublik spheres, as well as somebody to calm my temperament and ensure even more smooth communication.

This month, my Deputy Prime Minister candidate is jamesw.



Permanent Secretary
I'd also like to announce an experimental new plan to aid and improve the defence of the realm, by bringing the Minister of Defence to the forefront, thus allowing the MoD to gain a wider experience in the affairs of government. To enforce impartiality, this has to be done carefully. Accordingly, Artela will feature as a Permanent Secretary, disconnected from the politics of government but still around in order to share experience.

With such a strong supporting team already, it's clear that the UK doesn't need to settle for second best.

I hope that on February 5th, you'll join me in standing up and declaring that we want to make this country great again. I hope that on February 5th, you'll join me in voting Jhorlin.
