[Congress] End of Term Report
UNL Congress
Greetings citizens of Netherlands,
Firstly, I want to applaud Tim Veltkamp for his congress statistics. As CoC I also have used a spreadsheet throughout this term, and I also planned to share it as one of my final actions as CoC. My sheet is focused on the actual votes themselves. It was useful on a few occasions to detect people voting twice (You know who you are
😛), and of course it is a great way to check the tally.
If you want the sheet itself, I've uploaded it to a Google sheet. If you're interested in the contents, check the following screenshot (parties in the order of the election results):
As CoC, I want to remain neutral, so I won't comment on the individual voting behavior. I'll leave it entirely up to the reader to interpret this sheet. The individual votes (Yes, No, Neutral) are shown.
Note: I have included all votes for which I know who voted. As such, my activity percentages are slightly different from Tim Velkamp's. A number of votes that I do include are recent "Administration" votes, for which the individual votes are public. This is a new feature in eRepublik, which was implemented during this congress term. As such, only 4 of these votes are public for this term, but it can be expected that all votes will be public in the future. This is a great step for even more transparency.

Pertamex!
Sorry I misspelled that work.. "Pertamax"
That "word". 😛
It looks like a good job was done this month
Great for the third commune
won't be active at a minium for 5 months.
Great, we got ready in advance as a responsible community
At least work is done to increase our options and prepare for the future odan. But nevermind. No matter what is done you will always be against if it's from outside I&W.
Nice! Great to see other CoCs to follow my example with transparency voting sheets. Certainly a huge improvement in comparson with previous administration!
Nice overview again! And indeed people can see the typical voting patterns for themselves.
Oh by the way: You could have placed Fhaemita under REL. He was elected when in I&W indeed, but after elections immediately left.
For completeness, I'll get back to this:
I placed everybody based upon the election results. So the party with the most votes on top, and elected CMs in the order of the candidate lists.
Indeed Fhaemita has switched party quite soon after being elected. But I have not recorded when exactly. Based upon the voting results, he "looks like" an I&W member during votes 1, 2 and 5. So if he made the transition as early as you say, either he still held/holds some I&W views despite this change in party, or he voted so out of allegiance to the party that got him elected.
So probably people changing party mid-term should be considered just that: between two parties, with no clear reason to put them under either of them. I chose to preserve the election results, but you could equally well pick any date during the term and use the parties at that date.
What I did change were the names of some elected CMs. They changed their name mid-term, and I updated this in my sheet. But that is also changed retro-actively in the election results.
