[Black Friday] in the Netherlands

Dear citizens of the Netherlands,

I'm writing this article mainly for the purpose of helping our young citizens. There are a few things that players relatively new to the game need to purchase during black friday.

Energy centers
On the advanced building page you will find your energy centers. During black friday permanent energy centers can be purchased at a large discount. These energy centers are the best investment if you do not have them yet. I'm not 100% sure but you can buy them either on the advanced building page or the gold store page.


Training grounds
The government refunds upgrades of your training grounds. If you are a new player and have little gold fist buy the energy centers. Important to know is that the ROI of training grounds depends on their quality level. I advise you to upgrade your first training ground (free) to quality 4.



Once you've upgraded your first training ground you have to make a choice. You can invest in companies or try to upgrade your 2nd training ground (the one that costs 0.19gold to train in). I recommand investing in food companies first if you have very little strength.


Food companies
If you want to build food companies you will need to create a holding company in Western(max bonus)/Southern/Eastern Netherlands. Once you've created your holding company it is time to purchase a food company which costs 10 gold. Here you can find information on how to build holding companies.



Once you've bought the food company you can assign it to your holding company. Now you have a quality 1 food company. As a new player with little gold I recommand you to upgrade your food companies to quality 2. For those players who have been around longer and have more gold to spent you can upgrade your food companies to quality 3,4 or 5. If you want to build a food empire or are rich you cna consider quality 6 and 7 which will probably enjoy less polution in the Netherlands.



I mentionned polution above. I believe it best that new players stick to Q2 food companies, older players stick to Q3-5 companies and tycoons use Q5-7 companies. This ensures that the polution of each company quality will remain relatively low and we all profit from maximum production! See production % on the right side in the image below.




Next to food companies you also need to produce Food Raw Material in order to produce your food. I recommand all new players to purchase Quality 4 (cattle farms) FRM companies as shown below. You can use NLG(currency) to purchase these raw material companies and gold to purchase and upgrade your food companies. Older players might want to purchase Q5 FRM companies (hunting lodges) in order to save energy as these FRM companies produce more FRM per work.
