It’s been a bit of a hectic week for me, hence the tardiness of this update. I stood for election as the Supreme Commander for the PANAM alliance, and was duly elected. Jamesw was also elected to the position of Secretary General for the PANAM alliance, so it seems that between the two of us we will be responsible for the daily running of the place and a ton of work. There is a little more detail in jamesw’s post here.

Following on from the news above, for those who have not yet caught up with news from other places, I have also stepped down from my role as the Minister of Defence for the UK in order to concentrate on my new duties. Please join me in congratulating tlawson2310 on his promotion to the role.

It was a pleasure and an honour to be able to serve the UK in that role, and I will miss it dreadfully, but there are only so many hours in a day.

It appears that UK has declared Norway as Natural Enemy in order to fulfil the requirements of the latest mission set by the admins. More details to be found in Woldy’s last missive.

Are we to expect more harmonisation of EDEN and PANAM now the major stumbling block, Turkey, is not in PANAM? I realise that we are in a difficult position as we rent to Serbia (whilst holding both top jobs in PANAM), but do you think PANAM could work with EDEN in the same way that the US did after it left?
