I have max pp, why would I need epic battles?

Hello.
I have a question, after we max PP in Weekly Challenge (WC - maybe change to Weekly Event) what use do we get from epic battles?
As a proposal would be to receive double Military Rank, or maybe universal points for Armory fighting vehicles..
