In regards to the UIP's Party President Election

This PP election is banana’s. No cute banana pictures or stories here. Just straight up fact.

So America, I have to say. I’m disappointed. With the amount of crap the UIP has been getting, it took ya’ll up until about half an hour ago to contact me. At the beginning of my term, I made a post in the USA forums. The bulk of this message said, if you have a problem/concern with the UIP, you are more then welcome to contact me. Nice to see not one person do so.

Why am I writing this article? 1.) I severely upset at the actions and accusations of some people. 2.) To debunk every accusation that has been brought up. And 3.) To shut ya’ll the hell up. So lets start, shall we?


Okay. We have 3 candidates that were in the UIP primary. That means that thedillpickl and J03 Freyer are in-game runners alone. So ssomo, Athanaric, and PrincessmedyPi are all primary runners. Our primary was started on the 11th of this month, and ended on the 13th. ssomo had won our primary, and as per constitution rules, the other two should have stepped down. Messed that one up, huh?

A few candidates claimed the primary was a set up, or dishonest. FALSE. We’ve run our primary every month for nearly a year, with a great deal of success. And every time, people have stepped down when they’ve lost. Why is that? I like to think they’re mature enough to know they’ve lost. When the primary was posted, an article was written about it, a forum PM was sent out, and it was stuck in our official channel. Now, a few UIP’ers has claimed that there is some black listing because it was not PM’d in-game. This is my fault and my fault alone. I did not assign it to the comm team, because I was going to write/send it out myself. If you truly want a reason why I did not, I went with my sister-in-law to the hospital for a cancer check. So don’t give me crap that I did it on purpose. I apologize that I have a real life. /sarcasm

Claims towards ssomo being a cav PTO’er: This is a disgusting accusation, and I’m very ashamed to see this. ssomo is not now nor is not a PTO’er. Ever. In fact, out of all the campaigns the UIP PP candidates have, his is one of the most clean and straight forward. He’s the ONLY one to list out exactly what he plans to do this month. He’s one of the most levelheaded people I know, and even he is getting pissed off.

After chatting with RalphyNoPants (Cav CO), I am confident that ssomo is not a PTO’er in any sense. The conversation with ralphy discussed ssomo approaching him directly, or ralphy hearing even one whisper of rumors about a cav PTO. He assures me there is not one. IF WE CANNOT TRUST THE CAV CO, then lets quit this game now. If we’re going to go down this path of thought process, then I would ask that every army member not join USWP for fear of an army take over. (Since Hadrian X is a member of the Army.) Ridiculous, right? Exactly

Another thought: If I remember correctly (and excuse me if I’m wrong) but ssomo has been an active UIP member longer then he has been a cavalry member. Edit: After persuring this path, I have found that that ssomo has been a UIP member since before the cavalry was created

My question America: When has being an American military hero become evidence of a PTO?

Our recent gains in memberships: NOT. A. PTO. One of our more tech savvy members, andrax, has been personally recruiting non party active people to join the UIP. Believe me or not, this is how it is. I have proof of this. I chatted with a brand new UIP’er. He said that the reason he joined UIP is because we’re the only one to send him a recruitment message. Therefore, I assume that no other party is recruiting anymore. And since all these people have been messaged, and joined, I assume that no party has recruited for a long time. Your loss. I have a question. When has getting new people in our country active in politics become a bad thing?

Out of party voting: This is disgusting. I cannot believe not only that people can justify out of party voting, but to ask for it. You have officially lost the respect of me if you choose to do this. As seen in “#TheFamily”

This is horrible. I’ve even seen people in trusted high level government official positions not only advocating this action, but encouraging it. This will be the destruction of the American democracy system. I simply am appalled at the actions taken by some trusted people in this society.

Assumptions: I’m horrified by this, but not surprised. Our society decided something in their own head, and without checking any type of validity, they move into action based on their own assumption of a situation. I’ll tell you right now, as the leaving Party President of the United Independents Party. There. Is. No. PTO. Anyone who tells you anything different is a liar, and is simply causing drama.
