Good evening everyone, today I had the opportunity to interview one of my favorite players in this game & a player I've befriended, the (secretly Canadian) legend that is smee again!

1. Tell us about the RL smee again.

I'm from Canada, of Greek heritage and currently living abroad. You can either believe that lie or you can believe the truth - that I am a demonspawn.

klop: Clearly.

2. RL Hobbies and Interests?

I enjoy reading, the cinema (yes even artsy-fartsy films), astronomy and tossing a few back and watching the leafs (they are only watchable if you've drunk a few). However HNIC is not the same without Coach's Corner. (Overseas you get a regional blackout between intermissions). Also, I enjoy ordering pizza's to your house, signing you up for magazines and writing your telephone number on the washroom stalls at trucker stops.

klop: I've come to enjoy the late night calls and the pizza. I tell the truckers I'm waiting for you though. Just stop ordering anchovies on pizza, a classic pepperoni while hockey's on is fine with me.

3. How did you start playing erep? Why'd you stay?

I was looking for a strategy game and this game seemed similar to RISK, so I thought I'd give it a try. I stay because from time to time the game can still be fun. My ultimate goal is Titan*** and Level 200 which I am rapidly approaching and after I achieve these I will consider that I have finished the game. Another reason I stay is to send you hateful and hurtful messages everyday. I.e. In my daily message to you tomorrow I will compare your intellect to that of a cheeseburger.

4. Favourite Module and why?

The economic module used to be my favorite until they gutted it after V2 and the political module is non-existant. So the only module that is left is the war module, which is obviously my favorite. Hopefully in the very near future they will restore the economic module to it's former glory.

5. Your prowess when it comes to the media module is unmatched. What made you start the incredible articles you have entertained all of us with over the years?

Articles are definitely one of the most enjoyable aspects of eRepublik for me. Usually my articles are to serve a purpose or just for my own personal amusement. However, articles can be used to deliver propaganda, which if used properly, can be a very potent way to manipulate public opinion as well as enemy moral. One of the most effective ways of delivering your message is definately through a low brow "trolling" style. This style can cut through any linguistic barriers with your readers as yours articles can be simplified and your message can be passed in a comedic fashion, which makes it more entertaining to read. Propaganda will help you defeat your enemy because you can best the enemy on the battlefield but to truly conquer them you have to win the battle in their minds.

6. What was your most memorable experience as CP? Describe it.

Bulgaria and FYROM decided to tag-team Greece with a double NE. They came unprepared and We utterly destroyed them. It was completely humiliating for them to the point that Serbia, Hungary and Poland were forced to declare NE on us so that they could finally take us down (5 on 1). The most memorable moment of my presidency was the third NE against us, the Serbian one, because at the time we realized that it was definitely a watershed moment.

7. Dead players you miss the most? - Dark Cthulhu

Now that PUPSE has returned I can honestly say nobody is missed. PUPSE NYA NYA GOUTSOU GOUSTOU (no I haven't gone mental, just some insider stuff 🙂 ).

8. Favourite books/movies you've read/seen in the past year?

I'm into comedies and sci-fi. Most of the stuff I've seen in the past year has been meh'ish, however one that definately stood out is Trailer Park Boys: Don't Legalize It. The newest season on Netflix was also great. Watch it, you'll laugh your ass off, and then I can use one of my favorite Rickyisms and tell you that I ATOADASO (I told you so). Speaking of trailer park boys somebody told me that IRL you look like Randy and you can down cheeseburgers just as fast. How true is this?

klop: You know me so well smee, we'll have a cheeseburger beer someday.

9. Greatest player you've met thus far? Why?

The greatest player I've met thus far is definately Plato. We sell Gold for CC on the monetary market, he sells Gold for dollars. That's quite impressive.

10. Is it true you have a fan club?

Yes, I have my fans. You will definitely see them in the comments below. Also I have my stalkers, like you. Weirdo.

klop: Admit it, you love me. Right? RIGHT? Good.
