Yesterday marked the beginning of a new era for eCanada, as the country’s dictator was taken off his seat during a revolution. On Thursday evening, former speaker DMV3 foreshadowed the incoming revolution in an article that you can find below. Then Friday night the revolution was organized and struck down the dictatorship in a fight that ended 96-3 for the revolting side. Colin Lantrip, the player who bankrolled eIreland in our war with them, also bankrolled this revolution. Now, eCanada is living under democracy again, and government will take up their roles again to rule the nation.

With no more dictator, we now have a new country president. Our new country president is Exalted Druid, who was voted in on the 5th of September. Exalted Druid is an active member of CPF and has been playing eRepublik for 6 years based on his eRepublik birthday. Yesterday Aries Prime made the announcement of what is going to happen with this government and its cabinet. The cabinet is as follows:

President: Exalted Druid
Ministers: Aries Prime and DMV3

Aries also mentioned some things about the revolution and war plans as cited in other categories of this article.

This week was quite exciting in terms of war. Rylde, the former dictator, wanted to end the war with eIreland to allow us to use the previously built up airstrike more effectively. Rylde decided the best way to end the war was to wipe them. Understandably this made eIreland mad, causing some bad relation between eIreland and eCanada. Rylde decided that it may not have been the best idea to try to wipe them, so he wanted to propose peace. Unfortunately he had never had to propose peace in a war before, and so he didn’t know that you can’t propose peace to a natural enemy. After some time, he found out and made the proposal to have no natural enemy. He immediately pressed the yes button to send it through, which was a mistake. eIreland was still mad, and had found Colin Lantrip, who was willing to fund the eIreland’s side of the war. To make matters worse, Rylde asked eSlovenia to wipe eIreland for fun, which made eIreland even more angry. Now our new leaders have announced that they have come to an agreement with eIreland to get our provinces back and continue good relations. With this agreement we have also agreed to never take any of eIreland’s regions again. Also, an airstrike was proposed Friday to strike eMacedonia (FYROM) when the revolution started, but was not accepted by congress.
