Before I get started, you have probably noticed the change in the name of my paper. How 'bout that logo, huh? In addition, I have changed my avatar since I left my party of one for the Socialist Freedom Party and also joined the party military unit, Bear Cavalry. Ain't it dope, though?

Anyway, on with the article...
NOT MY FAVORITE KIND OF BUST
In my last article, I made an attempt to jump-start the media module with an actual writing contest. Unfortunately, the contest was nearly a complete bust. I did get two fantastic submissions, however; and they are definitely worth checking out;

It's a shame that more people didn't jump in and pump out some articles. Image the Top Five chocked full of ideas to make the game better. シ
CONGRESS BOUND???
While that was going on and prior to me rejoining SFP, I decided to message the new party presidents of each of the Top Five parties. I wanted to see if any of them would allow me to run as a Sixth Party candidate from a party of one. I have no doubts that each would deny my application, but this was an experiment I wanted to see through.

You see, since the gypsies pretty much killed the political module by nerfing the individual region voting and replacing it with whatever the hell they call this new retarded way of voting for Congress, Sixth party members looking to get into Congress have pretty much been "given the finger". I'm not blaming the party presidents... they should be doing what is best for their own respective parties. I am blaming a piece of crap political module that is ushering in a future as a game on Facebook. To answer my own question from my recent contest, "What Would You Want To See?", I would like to see a return to voting for individuals for Congress instead of parties.

Anyway, the party presidents from AMP and USWP respectfully informed me that they only run Sixth party candidates if they will be receiving an additional voting bloc from that candidate's home party. Being in a party of one at the time, I obviously couldn't do anything there. Two down... three to go.

The party president of WTP did not... and actually still has not... gotten back to me at all. I did, however, speak to Mazzy in IRC who informed me that WTP's policy matched that of AMP and USWP. Three down... two left. Odds are looking slim.

The Federalist Party party president actually gave me a moment of encouragement as he or she (I'm really not sure of blondeninja's gender) didn't immediately shut down the idea of running me. A few days later, however, I was informed that the Feds weren't going to be running me, either, and my excitement turned to disappointment.

Oblige, LAP's Moby Dick, had the shortest and most unprofessional response, offering no reason whatsoever as to why LAP would NOT be giving me a shot. This was no surprise considering that he still blames me for something I didn't do.


In the end, this experiment confirmed my beliefs that the gypsies broke the political module and even told me a lil something about the current party presidents. I thank you all for participating.
PARTY HOPPING/MU SWAPPING
As stated above, I made the move to the Socialist Freedom Party and its military unit, Bear Cavalry. It's nice to be back home and I am planning to be an active and integral part of the rebuilding of the once-mighty party. It's nice to see the reception the party has given me as well, as they have all pretty much embraced my return with open arms. There are many plans and ideas I have for SFP, and I will get more in detail with those in the coming days. I will say right now that I plan to run for party president on the 15th, however.
CP ELECTIONS
Yes, friends... it's THAT time again... Country President elections. I want to congratulate future RadioStar.FM volunteer broadcaster Wild Owl for an amazing run as CP, and I wish the three candidates of Aramac, Gnilraps, and Tyler B the best of luck in the upcoming elections.

That being said, I publicly support AR|AM|EC for Country President this month. Aramec has great and feasible ideas and his plan for a American babyboom literally had me cheering. It's Simple really... Aramec for CP!
