Judes Contest

Day 2,279, 14:53 Published in USA USA by SenoritaLaura

So, Jude gave us assignment "What would you want to see?" and I've decided to write short article about it.

I've played enough MMO games, so I think that I'm able to answer this question. First thing I like when I start to play something, is being capable of competing top players even if you start playing much later than them. Of course that I don't expect to be serious threat to them in short period of time but if I'm persistent enough, I want to be able to make their life harder.

Other than that I like when I can track my progress. It makes me go forward and keeps me interested. Usually you have various statistic tables that help you with that but that doesn't help always. In erep you have tons of tables but you don't have feeling that you've done anything that will place you in front of someone else. At least I haven't got that feeling since I started playing.

Pattern is pretty same in all games. You're always building/researching/ and doing quests. Here, you're working, building your strength, buying higher quality companies and fighting of course, but there's no excitement in that.
I remember how excited I was while playing some of games. I couldn't wait to unlock some skill, upgrade or buy something new or research some technology that will help me defeat other players more easily.

Every game that had chat available was better than one without it, so I think that chat could improve this one too.

That's pretty all I've got to say. Those are some things that usually keep me going. If I start to write about all changes erep needs, I won't be over until tomorrow.

P.S.
This is first thing I've published, so don't be too harsh with me. There's no pictures or anything else because it's more like letter than an article.

Before final end, I'd like to thank FEDs because they gave me gold for my newspapers.
