I had five lovely entries for this competition (and one that didn't qualify) and while I was a little disappointed more people didn't participate I was really pleased with the articles of those that did.

I drew a name from a hat and the winner of the 5g is Irish Princess!

And I'd promised one of the people mentioned in an article would get 2g. The name out of that hat was: Rhett Butler (mentioned by Nephworks here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/my-egratitude-1098788/1/20)

Both will get their winnings from my own citizen account shortly.

I've recieved another Q1 house courtesy of jeltzz, though this time there's a condition - you must be an IDF member to qualify. I can't find the recruitment link for the life of me (if someone could reply with it I'd be very grateful, otherwise I think Edana or Dan Murchadh, who CO the newbie division, would be happy to point you at it).

I won't be putting this up for grabs as of yet, given the immient party-holiday it wouldn't be fair on those celebrating out in RL, but I will be passing it on to my successor to give away so if you want to qualify I'd get enlisting and joining the forums now, lads. Lol.


Our Lottery Winner!

This week's lottery took a damned fine 390IEP, plus the 50IEP I donated myself this makes 440IEP! Which in turn means this week's prize fund (75% of that) 330IEP!!! This is added to 10 gold from Pip Kelly, and 10 gold from yddub emwolb, making 20g in total that I won't be dividing up, because 20g is what I promised in the advertising.

Please note that a new draw will not open following this one, though hopefully the lottery will resume quickly next week when the new MoC takes up their position. This is because I am definitely standing down and will have limited time this weekend to get the org in order for my successor, plus I'm hoping to have time to write up 'How To...' articles on running the lottery and Community Awards, something my RL vacation didn't allow me time for when I handed over to John back in October but which I feel could be helpful given I pretty much had to trial and error them myself..

But anyway, none of ye really care about that, do ye? Lol.

As there's been one outright winner the next lottery, which I repeat will not begin until next week, will start from scratch again.

Of the rest no IEP will be retained by this account, which of it's own funds now has 500IEP and is therefore at it's cap. The remaining 110IEP will be sent to the Irish State Community Fund (http://www.erepublik.com/en/organization/1908995).

And I will soon delete all lottery related messages from this org, as well as a tonne of others, because God knows whoever takes over the job doesn't deserve to have to wade through the stuff I've been saving 'in case' lol.
