The eIrish Community Awards

Dear all,

As you will have noticed if you're a friend of the org (and if you're not a friend of the org I advise you become one lol) I have delayed the super lottery draw until tonight, probably close to midnight GMT by the time I come home from work and everything. This was due to realising a couple of people hadn't sent me numbers, though they had sent IEP, and another had picked a number outside of the range. I will do the draw for the two Q1 houses at that stage too.

What I wasn't willing to leave until then was the eIrish Community Award nominations. With the holidays and everything it took a little longer than usual to get everything sorted out, and I didn't want to write this article at the weekend when so many people would have missed it. As it happens in every round of Community Awards we've had most of the voting has gotten done in the first two days anyway, so I'm not so worried lol.

You have until Sunday, January 3rd to get your votes in. Please sent them to Donut Stores this time.

You will notice that the Lovable Rogue category is missing this time. This was due to a fault in my original article where it was omitted, and the vast majority of voters had nominated with that category missing (though I had editted it back in after it was too late). For this reason running the category would feel unfair though I would suggest whoever takes over as MoC next term (I'm definitely standing dow) re-instates it.

You cannot place a vote where there is already a winner, only in the three categories where there was a tie for first place. I hope to announce the awards on Monday, just in time to hand over the org keys next Tuesday lol.
