G’day Aussies,

This month will be a very challenging but exciting month for eAustralia. We have a new President (the fourth month in a row that the Australian President has been a first timer), we will be hoping to have a senate again and the political scene is alive and kicking. I make no apologies for saying that the roots of the revival in the political scene were laid by the Australian Democratic Party, in fact I am damned proud of it. So with my retirement from all cabinet work (this being only my second month i have never been involved to in an Australian Government) i am running for the Party Presidency of the ADP again on Tuesday July 15th.

So, what can i bring to the party?

Well obviously i am very proud to be able to continue the weekly food drops to all party members, this i believe is an asset of the party in providing help on a regular basis to members young and old. Senior ADP members have been at the front of using their own finances for the better of others for quite a while now and long may this continue.

Four months ago we were a party of four members and now we are Australia’s biggest and most active party...but with this proud achievement comes responsibility and we will not shirk from that responsibility. So as only the political parties in the top 5 can run candidates due to game mechanics then we will again open the hand of friendship to parties who wish to run candidates for senate. So i will look to help other parties enter senate and breathe new life into some of the smaller parties and allow people the freedom of choice if they wish to represent a smaller party but not be hindered by stifling game mechanics. There are some great and loyal Aussies in the smaller parties and we believe it is about time they had their chance to guide their country in the direction they believe is the best way forward. No fine print or catches...this is a genuine offer. I have no desire or wish to see smaller parties vanish because a lot of people earn their craft from getting opportunities in smaller parties, opportunities they wouldn’t get in larger parties with more members looking to take positions and roles. So the hand of friendship and the offer of help is extended...it is up to the smaller parties if they wish to take it.



I again will be opening a ADP senate candidate PM for all our senators to discuss game mechanics and such so they do not feel timid making a point in senate, and yes i do plan on bringing through youth to the eAustralian senate as well as a few old heads. This is a game for young and old and if active Aussies are eager and sensible enough then we will promote you as much as possible. I will be continuing producing the ADP Library so young and new players have more of an idea what the game is all about, this will be a vital asset to our party.

Competitions for members will continue, in the past month i came up with the eAustralian World Cup and the ADP Grand Prix...little fun competitions just to make real life sporting events more fun if you know a person in those sporting events is representing you with the chance of winning cash/tanks/food etc etc. These will still have priority spaces to ADP members.

Democracy is something i am very passionate about, and accordingly i will again personally make sure each and every one of you is sent a PM with a link to a ballot of candidates for the eAustralian Presidential election on August 5th. Last month i believe we were the only party that gave every single member a voice by taking the time to approach YOU, something we are proud of considering we are the largest party. Obviously if an ADP member wishes to throw their hat in the ring then contact me before the 30th and we’ll add you to the ballot and help you with graphics etc etc if the party votes to support you in the ballot...then you will get the full weight of the party behind you and that includes articles of support, PM’s on election day to the electorate as well as graphics.
