Happy Birthday National Alliance Party
Indeed, the day has finally come for the National Alliance Party to celebrate our very own one year anniversary of our founding. On this very same day on October 20, 2008, a group of active and progress seeking politicians and active citizens gathered under the Old United Lolies of Japan (not the current one) to create an entire new party designed for the guidance of the future betterment of Japan. It is very happy day for National Alliance Party.
365 days ago in this same day, I stood with many other leaders gathered to reform the old ULJ to National Alliance Party. The great leader theagent007 lead the first month of our existence, and helped fabricate the ground work for the party itself. I myself personally served as the party secretary, and fabricated the very same manifesto that has guided the party to the current stance within Japan. There were many diverse ideas that were merged together within the pot to create the core principles that National Alliance Party runs on. A diverse mind came together to form diverse ideas, which continues to guide diver people.
It is very easy for a party to come into being. It is very easy for any party to suddenly gain power and enters into the political stream of Japanese government. It is also easy for any party to decay and die out. However, National Alliance Party, since our founding has became, and continues even to now days as a party unable to be removed from voice. Since our founding, we have always maintained our stance within the top 5 party list; and never once had we fell from the list. Of the eight month of the long 12 month till today, we maintained our spot within number 1 ranked party within eJapan.
Members of National Alliance Party, from new to old, we have had a wonderful year with each other, and I hope to continue for our bonds, and our voice to remain as a core fundamental system within Japan. We are neither extreme, nor rowdy, nor offers free services exclusive to our members, nor plot as a party in the dark to shape policies, nor hold any hidden IRC channel, nor have secret forum. However, we were always joined together by the principal, and idea to create a Japan that is suitable by the mass, and for the mass, and to restore the power of the individual citizens to limit the powers of the government. While neither material goods, nor does the Reiji Principles hold us together, we have always been bound under common idea, and for the mutual benefit of making this country better for its citizens.
It is my great pleasure to see a first year anniversary of National Alliance party. It has taken us great endurance, and patience, as well as the core founding values to guide us to the present. Being a party both filled with history,, and experienced from the past, holds us great responsibility to continue to tie our past values, morals, and to help learn and educate from the past events for the future of our country. The future is always uncertain, however, it is our advantage that we have the past to help us undertake continual voyage into the future as the fates continues to unroll their secrets to us.
Happy birthday National Alliance Party and thank you for all your support.

Dropping out of the Election
My supporters and citizens of Japan,
Tonight I have sad news to bring to you all. I am sadly dropping out of this month’s race to presidency though I have invested great amount of time campaigning, with many ideas plans for new programs that will move our nation forward. However, it ends here. I must sadly drop out from this race.
I campaigned on activity; I campaigned on active and experienced leadership; I campaigned on the reform for the future. However, I cannot continue. I will be too busy in real life on September to truly offer the active leadership I campaigned on. I do not think I can continue to run when I cannot fulfill one of the promises I have made to my voters, since that would mean I am disrespecting you as the voters and trying to lie myself up into the title. That is something I do not wish to do.
Although I will have enough time to continue my regular activity in the game, IRC and forum for September, I do not feel I have enough time to invest to lead a country. Simply, I do not feel I can disrespect the country by leading this country when I myself cannot be around to help the country when in need. That would defeat the whole purpose. I did not run for the title, I ran for the betterment of Japan. Dropping out now to support another candidate who can actually accomplish the goals I ran on seems a better choice to me than to leave myself possibility of getting elected and not being able to have time to focus on eJapan.
I have decided to endorse Oraizan for this sole purpose to restore activity in the presidency. Although there are many area of politic Oraizan and I do not agree on, I know that she has enough experience, activity and dedication to lead this country. I believe it is fine choice, since I know she will be able to give more dedication to Japan, and more time to watch over Japan than I can possibly do in the current state. It would be better to hand the torch to another candidate that has more ability than to try to continue on with half strength right now.
I am sorry for all my supporters, however, Real life schedule and issue will not allow me to spend enough time in the game to lead the country. Last thing I want to see is to see a country leaderless in the time of peril. And thus my campaign ends here.

Communication: Key to Success
This will be my third campaign article that I write to our voters, our citizens, and those who are given this ultimate power to decide the nest leader of the country. In my first article, I announced my official announcement to run for the president of Japan. On the second article, I covered in depth regarding the military policy I planned to implement due to the overwhelming questions the voters held regarding the reforms from the current policies that were being proposed. And for our third article, I shall cover one of the most important requirements you need as an effective leader: Communication.
Communication is one simple factor that depends not on your experience, or who you have with you as a group. It is one factor it depends on yourself and only you can truly tell others what you are thinking about. Sure; your friends can tell you what you are probably thinking. However, only you truly know what exactly you are thinking about. Active communication is everything country needs to keep its functions from falling apart.
In the current month, the communication between the public and the executive branch of the government has gone silent. Simply, president that only write article on the time of election, and let the other talk for him during his office are simply unacceptable; and is only disrespecting the public by assuming they know what is going on. The great truth to be told is that the public really don’t know anything about you, and they are in state of uncertainly. They are in fuzzy and unclear cloud that is causing them to be lost. There is no visible trail for them to follow. Only that who knows about the trail already understands anything going on.
This destruction to our government’s transparency and destruction of the communication between the public and the president in the past month is something which our country should not endure. The office of presidency is one title within the game that is given the most responsibility and power within the game. Could our public report what they needs to their leader if leader cuts the communication line from them? The obvious answer is no.
In the past, there has been more direct line of communication between the president and his citizens within the game, where all citizens, even those who aren’t active in forum or IRC, can have chance to speak and to have open communication with the president. The president has given the public his appearance through article ensuring the public of what is going on or anything that has happened, which may matter to our country. Simple regular update from the leader alone puts great deal of assurance to the people he leads.
However, such thing is completely absent from the game right now. Currently, only those who regularly visit the president can truly find him open or available for question or comment. Only 50 or so citizen from our entire nation of 1850 citizens is given opportunity to communicate much with the leader they elect. Although IRC is very effective in providing less formal communication between the leaders and his citizens, it is inadequate to inform other thousand citizens about the current event in such excluded space from the game.
I think I have stated many times in the past but I will say it again. Doing something and succeeding is different from doing nothing and making no mistake. Surely, inactivity will lead to no failure since there is nothing to screw up. However, it can never succeed either. Inactivity only leads to the void in the leadership, which places great weakness in our government open to those leaches which goes to where power is, and suck as much power as they can take in from them.
However, many may ask what I propose to do or change to increase the communication between the government and the citizens.
The plan isn’t that complex as it seem, however only require dedication from the leaders. One thing for sure that will change is that there will be more direct communication taken by the president to reach out to the citizen by the simple use of the articles. Although they are not fancy as IRC, they are basic communication tools for the game which everyone has access to. There will be direct article from the president addressing every day to international issues that may affect the everyday lives of its citizens. I shall do my best to try to keep direct communication. What this means is that there will be no more pesky middlemen you have to do through to get your information. Leaving a comment in my article or sending me simple pm will get all the answer you need to keep the citizens informed. The citizens will know that I am here for them, for I shall do my best to make sure I make enough presence in the public so I can be contacted with great ease. I shall NOT under any circumstances go hide myself in the closet. That will be simply rude to all those who have casted their vote for me.
It is another goal to try to get the ministers in charge of their own department to post their statement here on the game using articles as well. At the current time, if they do post an report or statements at all, it is only being posted on the forum or reported only to small member within the government. While forum is nice and I do support the continual improvement on the forum, we must accept the sad truth that not everyone reads forum that regularly and forum does have rather exclusive feeling to those who are not accustomed to it. At least posting of simplified or conclusive report from each cabinet member on the article at least one a 2 week, it will help reach out for those who are not regularly considered the “in” group in the current administration. If our country wishes to have any future at all, instead of creating deeper ditch between the users that uses only the game, only the forum, or both forum and IRC, we are only destroying the future of ourselves. Rather, instead of singling out one type of communication over another, all communication tools must be used to their full potential to keep the information abundant.
Although all these points raised in this article seems quite minor, and many may not care much in daily life, I believe for an active and effective leadership to take charge of this country, abundance of information and the educated citizens are core factors into the advance of our country. What good is our army if the people who are paying for them don’t know what exactly is going on? What good will foreign relations do if the citizens don’t know the current relations between the countries we have official contact with? (do you know who represent you in PEACE? How about in Sol?) What good with mentoring program do if public isn’t constantly aware of the fact that the program exists? How could you feel included in the government if you don’t know what government do? How would you criticize someone if you know nothing about them or you do not see any actions from them? These are only some of the questions that may come to citizens’ mind with failed communication.
Even something which seems unconnected is related. Our failure to secure South Korea last congressional election even streams from lack of communication. Due to the fact not enough contact were made between the government and its people, our country has failed to help South Korea and its people, and we lost by 1 vote. If there were greater communication made between the government and our citizens, perhaps we would see a strong and vibrant South Korea next to our country. However, at the time of South Korea’s peril, our country was left without the leader to help them. Our president was inaccessible, and our vice president (who should be in charge while the president was away) was busy shouting “JAPAN: Please vote for Jbic75 in Gyeonggi-do for congress! Please PM me for moving tickets if needed!” when perhaps that 1 very vote could have change the eternal future of South Korea. This is failed communication which happens in everyday life of Japan at the current time, and we must fix it. Simply, copying an old article from the past and adding small edits into it is not a tolerable way to communicate.
Japan needs leader, and she needs leader that will communicate with her to keep her assured that there is someone here in charge. Communication is key to our nation’s success, and that will be something that I will work very hard to fix and improve to return the power to every citizens of eJapan to make sure all of the voice of eJapan is being resonated within our government. Our people are not the tool of the government, and rather, the government and those who hold position are the tools of the people; and I plan to honour that very greatly. He doesn’t work for me if he doesn’t work at all. Thank you.

Clarification of my policy regarding Military
Since my official announcement to run for the president of Japan, there has been increase question from the citizens of Japan about the military policy I hold. There are increased rumor that I will move to destroy and minimalism our army and to move it to dusty and useless state. However, this is untrue, and I am here now to explain in more depth of the proposed military policy I plan to implement if elected president to try to renew and modernize our army to reform it into efficient, slime, and light fighting force.
Funding:
One thing people worry over is that I will cut the military funding to destroy the army. This is completely untrue. I personally believe that in current state of the country and our economy, our country can indeed afford 50-75 gold to fund our military per month. I believe this gives good funding for the army for month and if used properly, could help continue to develop our army. Our past two Ministers of Defense, Geno Garon and Kita Ikki has done a great job bringing an army to what it is now. There is no reason to stop now.
While it is true I do not plan to increase the monthly funding, I plan to increase the investment of the military as the whole. Currently, we have 1 organization, Japanese imperial Army that handles our military affairs. However, as our army develops, as our current Minister of Defense Kita Ikki says, the organization is becoming inadequate in supporting the soldiers. Thus I do plan to support creation of second military organization, Japanese imperial Navy to assist the current organization. However here is the twist over the current proposal of Minister of Defense Kita Ikki. I plan to invest more money to the new organization to create new weapon company which will serve as a stockpiling company of higher quality weapon for our army to use in emergency situation. Q1 weapons are not effective in real war situation, while they are good for training. Thus we must invest in something more effective in case of emergency.
Currently, we have one military organization: Japanese Imperial army with the monthly 75 gold budget. Currently it has Q1 weapon companies, and that is where soldiers get their weapons for training and for war.
I plan to change it into something like this…
-Japanese Imperial army (With Q1 Weapon Company which can be used for training)
-Japanese Imperial Navy (with Q3-4 Weapon Company which will be stockpiled)
-50-75 gold monthly funding
-Some JPY needed to run both weapon companies
From this program, 50-75 gold will be given indefinitely as the fund to the Military as the whole. This is the funding, that the army decides where it should be used for to improve itself. This is guaranteed funding to the army unless congress decision changes it otherwise. However in addition to that, 195 Gold will be invested (separate from the funding) to create Japanese Imperial Navy with Q4 weapon company. Some JPY will also be sent to both organizations for the running cost of the companies. This JPY which will be sent separately from the monthly funding will be given in JPY and could be used either to hire workers or to buy resource. When buying resource, since we must import irons, using JPY should help stop the deflation of our currencies to help keep our monetary market healthy. If needed, more JPY could be printed to be used for the army which will both help army funding, as well as keep our country from deflating.

Thus although the core funding will remain the same, new funding will happen with JPY that will be printed from the congress. This money should add extra support to the operation of the two weapon companies, as well as help to slow down the deflation of our currency by introducing some new currency to offset the increased demand or loss of it in the system. This should both help increase the overall benefit Japanese imperial army receives while help stabilize our currency while the stress on our tax payer and our citizens maintains the same.
Training:
Moving on to another question other citizens had, the priority based training. This training method should not cut the needed weapons our soldiers need to train for those who desperately need them, and should not take much affect for active soldiers of our countries that show greatest dedication to our army. What is should take hit on is against our lesser dedicated soldiers, that are only part of the army to receive free weapons.
What will happen is simple, those who has too low of an strength to take advantage of the weapon over the cost 9those probably under the strength of 4.5-5) will not be the priority of the system, nor would those with high rank already that costs too much to advance to next rank (general or Colonel.) Rather the highest priority on the weapons will become those with strength 5 and above who is private. Those with strength high enough to add damage but has extremely low rank would nevertheless gain highest priority since they can add much more damage for low cost, however, having high strength will not mean they will gain priority if they can afford the weapon or has high enough rank already.
I have been noted that our current Minister of Defense Kita Ikki has used similar procedure in the past. However, I wish to standardize it and put it to much wider application, so we can cut possible abusers of the system, as well as the waste of funds which can instead be used on our younger soldier that can use the fund with much more efficiency. Thus, this does not mean you will suddenly lose your free weapons. It will all depend on what your priority is. Obviously, if you are not a mobile force, you will have lower priority than those with mobile force. However, it does not mean you won’t get weapon; it will mean some day that weapon supply is low, you won’t get weapon and on days where there is more than plenty weapons, you will get the supply.
There will be some soldier cut from our army (mostly those who can’t move due to the fact they are part of politics of Japan) due to the fact they add nothing to the army than the cost to maintain them. Those politicians cannot be sent out of the country to assist our allies, and will not do much to the army on the regular bases. Thus they could simply be kept as other citizens outside of military who trains by themselves that helps defend our country in case of emergency and invasion. After all, this is why we have training wars that everyone can take advantage of.
I hope it clears up most of the questions people had about my military policy if elected, and if there is further questions, please do not hesitate to eave comment, talk to me on IRC, or talk to me with in game PM. I will try to answer it the best I can to explain it further to clarify further questions.
