This is Familiar
I'm back in the Revolutionary Party, my true home. I seriously plan on staying here for the rest of my eLife. I have finished my travels and will permanently live in this country. Special thanks to Katawata, Morningblur, and Warwound4 for keeping the party afloat while it's been... sinking.

As for my plans with the party, I'm being realistic. I've recruited before so I know what it takes to get this party to roughly 100 members. I can't be as active as I once was, but I think a solid 5 members a week would be a fairly reachable goal. I'm running for PP again to restore the party. I won't bore you anymore with this, but I strongly encourage you to join the party!

Sixth Party Coalition
I'm being told that our current PP has applied to the 6th Party Coalition. One of the first things I will do is hold a vote on this matter to see what the rest of the party thinks. I'm relatively sure we'll come out in support of this, though.

As for what I think it does for the game, it's a very interesting idea which I'm pretty sure has been brought up before. Sixth parties are essentially screwed with the new congressional elections. My policy will be simple: We run a candidate when we can get enough votes to not make a top five party spend any votes on us. This, however, requires a form of trust from the Top 4 PP because they have to have faith that we will send all of our votes to them.

It is not fair for a party with ten members to run a member in a party and expect to get placed in a spot with a chance to win. I don't blame the Top 4 parties in this regard at all.

What I do potentially have a problem with is ignoring 6th parties altogether. We can't be looked at as just a pool of voters the Top 4 can use. Just because my home is not in a popular place doesn't mean my opinion doesn't matter or should be heard less. With that being said, the coalition needs to take a smart approach when dealing with this issue. In a negotiation you always have to realize who has the upper hand. Is that us right now? Nope. We need to be sensible.
