Hello Nation,
I am writing tonight with some very exciting news. I am happy to announce the formation of the 6th Party Coalition!
The 6th Party Coalition is a group of political parties, under the rank of five, that are dedicated to the mutual cooperation in Country President elections, Congressional elections, media coordination, and ATO operations. The purpose of this group is to further the power of all 6th parties, and ensure our own political safety. We will accomplish this through the deliberate, and coordinated efforts of all members. We welcome all to apply to join our organization, who meet our standards.

In my last conversation with a T4 leader, I was told to get my party “right with the T4.” While I agree that mutual cooperation between all political parties is paramount to national security, I also believe that a level of respect is necessary to accomplish any such goals. That is why tonight I challenge T4 parties to make right with 6th parties. If you wish for our cooperation in the future you will be met with a united and organized front, rather than separate parties, that can be played against each other and manipulated.
We do not do this out of a way to be rebellious but rather to ensure our political relevance, and allow for our government to truly be representative of all political factions. That is why I ask that all 6th parties that are invested in the future of our nation, to apply to join our Coalition.

There has been talk for a very long time. Since before I started playing as I understand it. So my patience is just fine. : )

I don't think it's really about congress. This is more about the ATO help and they're going to pull it if we don't give them what they want. *sigh
Mechanically, the top 5 can restrict things to just AFA and the Unity candidate. They would have to actively vote against us, not just abstain, to swing things...and I doubt most of their members would do that, even if their leadership threatened it.
I have a feeling they will tell their members not to vote for anyone. Which still probably won't hurt anything. Meh. Too tired to run numbers.
Well yeah, assuming that then this seems like a form of blackmail treating the top 5 (which is in fact the majority of eAmericans) as the enemy, which seems relatively immature given the fault isn't with the top 5 but with the game's mechanics
I would rather you not characterize us as a threat to national security, as we are in no way one. We will not limit ATO support at all. The PTO is a threat the nation, and we take that seriously.
Considering the selection of a Unity candidate isn't part of the game mechanics and the way in which the Unity candidate is chosen -- being done in the back rooms of the metagame -- doesn't take the Top 5 majority into consideration, that majority not participating in the metagame, not to mention fails to give ample consideration to 6th Parties, maybe it is time to reconsider your Unity strategy to appease 6th parties if you feel their lack of support will negaively affect your future CP elections.
There are no "back rooms of the meta game" in the Feds country president primary. All members who have been in the party longer than a month are allowed to vote. (the month waiting period is so that our primaries can't be rigged by an outside party)
And I doubt it will matter this month since no one stepped up to run against Vanek26 on the unity side. (as far as I know)
You're wrong, Christopher. Every month I was involved in the primaries (which has been most of them), the endorsements of the 6th parties have been requested via in game mail so that we can count them up and issue a 6th party endorsement to act as the 5th 'vote' in the primary.
You really should check your facts.

As you can see, 6th parties are included.
There was once a guy who said "if you're not with us you're against us". T4 may run the table mechanically but it could do with a bit more humility.

@Pfeiffer: I can point out at least one month when the Party President of the Socialist Freedom Party wasn't contacted re: Unity candidates.
@Pfeiffer & Artela: The key words are "ample consideration". Obviously, if the 6th parties are finding a problem with the weight of their votes in the Unity process, then they should be free to negotiate better terms if you want to retain their support.

I think many people will be surprised what we can do. ATO especially thrives on coordination. In organizing a group of parties to work together we will have to be coordinating our actions all the time. This experience can only help us move more voters to help wherever they are needed to fight the PTO.
Of course we can say what we intend all we want, but the proof is in the pudding. We intend to show how we can work together to benefit not just our own parties but the country as a whole. The possibilities really excite me. It's going to be a very interesting time for 6th parties over the coming weeks and months.
Unless you can get the 6th parties to pick one party and build it into a Top 5 party or unless you are willing to vote against the 'Pfeiffer Loyalist' as bloc nothing will come of this, this was tried once before and they couldn't stop fighting each other long enough to get anything done.
We definitely got a lot in store for us in the future, we can do this though!

So is this the kind of revolution that I been pushing for? Or the kind that you wag your e-peen in hopes it works. And then as fluffy said where game mechanics severely fucks you over to where you cant do anything for trying to be "too nice"?
We are in no way a revolution. I have no idea what kind of revolution you have been pushing for so I can't really comment on that. Maybe you should come back from wherever you are now (I want to say North Korea 😛) and find out what we are about.

I would love to see all of these people form one party. Not only would it help this coalition concept, it could help the whole nation. We need more strong parties.
For some reason I kind of assumed that they would. Perhaps it's just optimism on my part, but I would like to think the entirety of this plan isn't simply 'withholding help for ATO.' Maybe it is though, we'll see.
