World in Factions - Brief MPP Analysis (Future Alliances)

Day 2,263, 17:05 Published in Slovakia Slovakia by OldGunFighter

Deer friends!

In less than 2 weeks (12 days exactly) it is going to be 100 days since the dissolution of CoT. It is just over 3 months after its passing and the eWorld is squabbling over the remnants of its gravedigger.

Today I took a look through MPPs signed in the past week and on the laws being currently debated in the parliaments of the eWorld to try and find who, with and against whom.

The process of new alliances forming is pretty closed for the public albeit for when the governments decide to put the deals on the paper. This is also where I chose to look for the clues as to what the near future might bring us.

Before starting to name the future blocks I have to say that this is barely a look through the recent MPPs and not much weight was put to relations and nostalgias that might be found among some of the countries.

In the current set-up there is a couple of states that will form the cores of new factions:
- Poland, Spain, Croatia and the USA (and here) (aka Northern block)
vs.
- Serbia, Hungary, Argentina and Slovenia (and here) (aka Southern block)

Of course, there will be a couple of 'additional,' minor states joining the ranks. It is very possible some of these will be only junior members of the alliances with limited rights.

For the North those are likely to be Italy (pacts with Spain, Croatia and Mexico), Mexico (pacts with USA and Croatia), Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Other possible states include Estonia, Iran and China (view Polish MPPs)

Adjoined to the Southern block are likely to be Venezuela (MPPs with all South cores), Taiwan (MPPs with Hungary and Serbia), Portugal (also MPP with Slovenia), and Latvia (+MPP with Hungary).

Then there are countries that are still undecided. Despite my lack of closer knowledge of eChinese relations, and their numerous MPPs with both sides, I think they will, at least silently, join the North with Poland, Spain and the USA.

I am really not sure about Greece, since they declared friendship and signed MPP almost simultaneously with Serbia and Poland. The tipping point for them is probably going to be Macedonia. Greece is the stronger of the two and that is why I think Macedonia will become isolated from the core states of both alliances as they will both try and get Greece. However, a clue might be given out by their recent block of MPP with Hugary.

And finally of the major states the United Kingdom. Recently they have not signed an MPP with any of the major cores, but for the currently voted upon MPP with Argentina. Despite their still active pacts with Spain, Poland and Hungary I take into consideration only the development of the past week or so, and that is why I think the UK will join the South with Serbia and Argentina.

To sum up, the way I see the future alliances is like this:

The North: Poland, Spain, USA, Croatia + Italy, Mexico, Albania, Bosnia and Estonia (+ Iran and China)

The South: Serbia, Hungary, Argentina, Slovenia + Venezuela, Taiwan, Portugal and Latvia (+ UK)

And undecided Greece.

To say so, there will be other countries and influences joining the party and these lists might change rapidly in the upcoming days, the more so that this little analysis is based only on the MPPs signed over the last week with the core states and (therefore) does not include states like Turkey, Indonesia, France, Bulgaria, or Romania.

I hope you have found this article at least a bit useful and don't feel ashamed to Vote, Sub and Shout about it. I would be thankful 🙂
