Woldy for CP ~ A Brief Thanks and the Cabinet

Day 2,023, 09:51 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Mr Woldy

Hello again eUK!

Sorry to drag you out of the sun, but I am writing today to offer a (hopefully) brief summary of what a Woldy-vote on 5th will mean, and to share my cabinet with you. I would like to begin by offering my thanks to all the parties that have supported me, TUP, UKRP, ESO, PCP, GBDP and the PFA. Your support is hugely appreciated, as is all the support individual people from across the entire political spectrum have pledged support over the past few days and to the hundreds that have voted my articles, written their own, participated in opinion polls and applied for cabinet. Cheers!

So, if you remember my manifesto you may remember the panoramic portraits used to split up and summarise the various sections:

As well as providing a handy and aesthetically pleasing means of giving you a brief overview, they highlight key points; including intelligence gathering in the MoFA, and organised military to be put into effect when the proverbial poo hits the fan, altering how we rent orgs, working with congress to create a plan for active recruitment and taking a hands on approach to communicating with our citizens in the form of arduous mass messaging. As well as more games and guides with prizes, maintaining our good standing with TWO, offering training loans as activity incentives and creating a streamlined cabinet, the manifesto offers several concise ideas for a better, stronger and funner eUK. Of course, if you need more details, check out the article or drop me a message.

The Cabinet

I received over 50 applications this month, and again a big thank you to everyone who applied. Choosing my Ministers was a very tough choice, and don’t be discouraged if you haven’t got in this month - your enthusiasm will carry you to glory, I am sure!

I have tried to bring some new faces in this month, as well as bringing back one or two older ones. I will be in discussion with my potential Ministers tomorrow to discuss under-Minister appointments and the direction I’d like to see them take this month - so again if you haven’t got into this Cabinet, it is likely we will be in touch about jobs within the ministry over the next few days.

The Cabinet is as follows:

NEVER GETS OLD

So, as Minister of Home Affairs I have chosen Zaphod. MoHA was a popular choice for applicants, so it was quite a tough decision but he had a very enthusiastic and interesting application, and is relatively new to the world of ePolitics, so thought I would give him a shot.

For Minister of Foreign affairs, I am keeping Kapten Johnson for another month. After filling in as a replacement this month, he has really risen to the task, he too being quite new to executive government, I thought it would be a great decision to allow him to continue the good work he has done so far.

For Minister of Finance, another new player; Boatsandhoes. He has worked in the ministry this month, and had a very impressive application for Minister of Finance that was very much in sync with my own plans for the ministry. I am very eager to get him involved with executive government and to have him on board.

The Ministry of Defence has had a great system this month, with one Minister (Bohemond) covering the night-time, and another (myself) the daytime. This is a system I am eager to keep, and so would like to keep Bohemond as one Minister, and adopt Sambo112 as the other, who has been a very handy individual in the battles against Ireland and who I know, like Boh, will have the enthusiasm to do a great job.

And that is that! As I say, we will begin going over under-Minister applications, and start talking to people about their roles in their respective Ministries over the next month. I am confident that this will be a great month, and I think this team will have great fun should I be elected.

Thanks,
HM Woldy I,

OBE, KCVS, MC, HRH.
