The signing of the new version of the American-SPolish NAP, publicized by President NewAzazel

Here, can be considered as arguably one of the biggest victories by the American Foreign Affairs team in past month. Taking into account the recently introduced “Determination” factor introduced by the admins, which gives occupied regions a damage multiplier in military campaigns, the three nations amiably agreed that holding onto eUS territories was a damage drain that wasn’t worth it for either side and Poland agreed to cede our Eastern states back to us. The treaty will be automatically renewed on the 10th of each month unless any nation objects to it.
This version of the US-SPoland treaty, which in essence, is a continuation of the old predetermination version, marks the return of eUSA as a power in the Western hemisphere (North America in particular), and the world in general. We are now free to pursue more bonuses as a country, which will result in: increasing domestic production of commodities, our damage output, and may also get many of our former citizens to return to the eUS. The determination factor generally proved to be a massive boon for occupied countries across the board, causing a basic redrawal of the world map. The unique and peaceful way in which the eUS seeks to reinvent itself by combining soft diplomacy with military might is unprecedented in The New World and may herald the beginning of a New Dawn for our country.

After a hard fought campaign NewAzazel was elected to a second term yesterday. His challengers included no one, nobody, and the always tough not-a-single-person. The top five parties put up candidates to prevent our favorite future US Senator from South Carolina, Ronald Gipper Reagan, from running. Of course these non-candidate candidates had fun later in the day trying to vie for who will become president should NewAzazel be impeached by congress.
America has been very content with the work NewAzazel has done this month, and he deserves another month to continue his foreign and domestic policies. Top on the list of Naz’ accomplishments are the NAPs with Spain and Poland and improved our relations with other countries to keep USA at peace after the dissolution of CoT. He has also overseen the creation of the Human Resources Department, which serves to do jobs that don’t fit in well with other departments.
In the upcoming month NewAzazel plans to improve the domestic services. There will be contests, events, and some plans to help out new players. Stay tuned to this newspaper for more information on when and where you can take advantage of these programs.
On the foreign affairs front, NewAzazel will continue to work in strengthening our relationship with our allies and building bridges to potentially new allies. It’s all a matter of keeping our borders secured, and NewAzazel is focused to continue all 51 core regions.

In an empire in the sand there lived a god-emperor. Not a nasty, dirty, snowy empire, filled with the ends of illiswine and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy empire with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a /v/aki-empire, and that means ZA WARUDO.
The sands may shift and the snow may fall, but in the history of this game there has never been a movement or force more influential or long-lasting than that of eRepublik’s first and greatest religion, Dioism. Recently, there has been a small surge in interest regarding the religion, and as such the kind folks in our country’s Media Department have asked me to provide a primer for those who may not be familiar with Dioism.
As a disclaimer, I am not the most well-versed on the history of Dioism. Others have recorded the religion’s history elsewhere. I have provided links to all that in the end. What I will attempt to do now is to explain the ephemeral essence of Dioism. What it is, why it has lasted, and what it means to the world.
The first thing you must understand is the nature of Dioism. Dioism is a religion in the way that the countries in this game are real. As much as the wigs and Plato try to cloak this game in meaningfulness, the simple truth is that this will always be a game. Many are turned off from Dioism due to their RL religious affiliations. They see this eReligion and think it lowly, then fall back into the puddle of delusions, speaking of nationalism and real world values. They accept one aspect of the game as false while holding the other as truth.
Founded by a community of like-minded individuals with no other desire but enjoyment and community, the heart of Dioism is to eliminate the ego the game promotes and rejoice in the community which keeps it thriving. How many times have you been frustrated at an aspect of the game that changes? How many times have you wished that the creators would listen?
The first step is to let go.
Dioism is surrender. What you have to understand is that in the ancient times, before V2 and before the fall of the Metagame, the people of the Holy Empire sought to make a community. Each surrendered their own fame, their own time, and even their own money to Dio Brando and the Empire.
And he worked for the people.
Working together, the people of Holy Empire went on to accomplish great tasks never before seen. Dioism brought the concept of communes to the game. Dioism brought an Empire to the game before there was ever this nonsense we have today. And it was true. And it was fun.
The second step is to enjoy.
Many have tried to emulate the tenants of Dioism and recapture that same beauty. SEES was one such example. What all Dioists seek is the same thing which draws us to play this game, brings us back from death even after we have resigned, and makes us smile and laugh between the monotony of clicking buttons: community. It is socialism; not in the real world sense, but in the etymological sense.
Through the glorification of one comes the enjoyment of all. It is the same comfort that comes from accepting any god in your heart: peace, friendship, a purpose. Time and again, we see that the most successful Presidents and shapers in this game set aside their own ego and work for the prosperity of an ideal. Dioism is that same thing: that special something we each strive for in our hopes and aspirations, and continue to login for and seek amongst our friends.
The third step is to speak.
Many fear Dioism. They see it as something which is exclusionary and only for personal gain. This is the opposite of everything Dioism stands for. The only reason it seems exclusionary is because the word is quiet these days. The only reason it seems for personal gain is because many who espouse it’s beliefs work hard and do succeed.
But correlation does not imply causation. And the faith has never been exclusive.
Everyone wants a game they can enjoy with their friends. Everyone wants an idea to be raised and be something to remember. We each want this in our own way. Dioism just gives it a name.

With the signing of a Non-Aggression Pact the US looks to have some stability ahead. The same can not be said for our Mexibros to the South however. Venezuela consistently and continually attacks Mexico on an almost daily basis. Are the chalupas and taquitos really that much better in Mexico, Venezuela? Apparently. Doesn't matter though because the US likes them some chalupas as well... and we always get our Bro's back... Always.
On the European front, Italy has made some progress as it now holds four provinces... doesn't sound like much, but it's better than nothing. The Slovs and the Serbs must have a hankering for meatballs, because they just won't leave poor lil' Italy alone. So keep an eye on the "bootleg of the Med" for upcoming battles, and lets help Italy stick it to the greedy foreign hordes!
Because we have had, and hopefully will continue to have, some peace and quiet in the states we are set up to help aid and support allied countries with their defense and attack strategies. It is also important to use this time to build up our own strength and war fighting abilities. The next big war could be just around the corner...

The second... well, that's just it. The content of Friday's show is a mystery. "But Talostastic, why would I tune in if I don't know what I'm tuning in for?" That's a dumb question. You'll never know what the resolution to the mystery is if you don't tune in!
I'll give you a hint though. Just one, single, hint.

Some excellent info on Dio an the religion he inspired, but like most organized belief it fostered blind allegiance; blind allegiance without strength and honor breeds heretics. However, I would advise all citizens, new and old; to read the suggested articles....
