Department Update: Defense
Deputy Secretary of Media Exploration

The Department of Defense (DoD) is the department of the Executive Branch that oversees, promotes, and maintains the branches of the USAF. It ensures that the eUS is able to allocate damage wherever is needed, in the fastest, most efficient manner.

The DoD is facing a lot of challenges this month, BigCDizzle explains, “DoD was primarily focused on dealing with the recent changes in government revenues. As most people know, there is less money coming into the government through taxes. Our goal was to deal with these changes, while maintaining the excellence and damage output that we are accustomed to. Under the current budget, not only have we maintained that excellence throughout the USAF, but branch activity is rising. Instead of losing influence throughout the month, we have branches where average daily influence is increasing.”

BigCDizzle is a busy person, especially with him taking on his new role as Fed Party President. He is filling in for Maxx Johnson at the moment, and it quite new to the department. “This is my first month in the Department. So I’m on day 24.”, BigC explains. He is coping with scheduling problems but is working his way around that and taking things step by step.

DoD has been working on getting each branch of the US Forces up to par. So far so good as reports have shown activity ,as well as influence, rising in each branch. Mr. Dizzle asserts that, “Members of each branch should enjoy being where they are, and it’s important to do what we can to make that happen.” Speaking of which, we have something for those people in government MUs.

Inter-Branch Comment War

Each branch puts as many votes and comments on the WHPR as possible. Only 1 comment per person counts, and the commenter must be a uniformed soldier. Comments will be counted over the 2 remaining WHPR's and the winning branch contacted on the 4th.Winning branch gets a special mention in WHPR, and a sum of tanks equal to 2 tanks per member, that are to be given out at the CO's discretion.

MU Highlight: eUS Military and Marine Corps
Deputy Secretary of Media DokJon

The massive eUS Military, led by Joint Chiefs of Staff, has their own system of raising American soldiers and promises a quite bright future for them. Six dedicated branches provide national-level quality programs to hundreds of soldiers for their successful military careers.

At the beginning of their formation in 2008, the eUS Military had three branches: National Guard (served as the introductory training unit), Army (average strength mobile fighters), and Marines (the elite mobile force).

During the good old V1 days, a lot of game mechanics worked differently. One of the game rules was that you couldn't deploy to another country while being a member of Congress. Hence, National Guard included a political division for Congress people. With ever-growing members, NG later committed into only being the political branch, and the training division broke off formed its own branch, known as today's Training Corps.

The Mobile Infantry, originally the third division of the National Guard, was formed as an extra branch to hold overwhelming members, towards the end of the President Emerick's Romanian Campaign in Asia. Known for its ability to quickly mobilize, MI eventually broke off and became its own standalone branch, Airborne was also created for similar reasons, to effectively spread out their soldiers with different strengths, in 2009.

Semper Fidelis

The United States Marine Corps, perhaps the oldest elite military unit in America, became a prominent fighting force as early as at the beginning of V1. With about 60 members, the Marines has been tirelessly crushing countless enemies in every corner of the world in its existence and provide fine security for the American citizens.

When asked if there were any challenges the unit's facing currently, despite their top-class strength and status as the elite branch of eUS Military, the Commanding Officer of the Marines Tiacha answered, "We always have a challenge with supplies due to the eUS no longer having bonuses. We don’t get government funds, but we get by with good management of resources."

Considering to join the Marines? They currently have applications closed but sometimes make exceptions when they get open spots. If you'd like to be added to their waiting list, please PM Tiacha.

Requirements:
10k strength, World Class Force for TC grads only
15k strength, Legendary Force for all other applicants.

War Map & Analysis
Secretary of Media NewAzazel

Key: Red arrows, enemy advance. Blue arrows with line, defeated allied advance. Blue line, allied resistance war block.

It’s my first time being a war reporter on the front lines, so bear with me if it’s not what you’re used to. At the top of our agenda is to recap what has occurred this month. As you know, President Cerb has signed three different bromance agreements with Brazil, Russia, and Albania. These were made with these particular countries due to their remarkable relationships and support for the eUS. And now we get a chance to fully support one of our bros in their war.

As you should know, Brazil has NE’d the Republic of China (Taiwan), and has attacked South Taiwan. This attack did not go as planned, but expect this war to continue. We support our Brazilian allies in this war, and we hope American citizens have fun supporting our bros in this fight. It took a while for Brazil to reach this point because they had to fight through Colombia and towards the Philippines to share a border with Taiwan, so this war has been a long time in the making. Cheer them on and fight alongside them.

In another front, chill out on fighting Mexico. We've been beating them up in a war that isn't really a war. We must all remember that the war with Mexico is a training war, and should only be used to get your true patriot medals and rank up a bit, not to tank and fight over battle heroes. We won two battles in a row, and beat a resistance war opened to maintain the agreement Cerb made. While I like getting medals too, we must remember to keep our agreements, and this isn't a war of conquest or for bonuses.

Lastly, we have the continuing Greek Front and the war in Australia. Greece looks like it is retreating to its Egyptian and Saudi territories while Serbia, FYROM, and Bulgaria carve up its home territories. Greece has fought off tough odds for a long time, and we should congratulate them on their fight thus far. In Australia, they fought off an attack from Chile on their last territory. Australia has been in what appears to be a never ending war for their homeland with Chile, and we continue to offer our support when we can and wish them well.

Ambassador Recruitment

As you know, foreign affairs are crucial to the success of the eUnited States. We are a powerful nation on our own, but without allies like Brazil, Russia, Argentina, China, etc etc, we would be overrun. These relationships are more crucial to the United States than ever before. So how can you as a citizen of the eUS get involved? There are still several vacancies left in our ambassador program, and you could become that missing link between the eUS and our next ally.

As our Secretary of State, Israel Stevens, says: "Apply to be an ambassador! See the world! Meet hot chicks!"
