White House Press Room - Day 1760 - Revolution and Anarchy!

The New Media Regime has appropriated Phoenix Quinn's top pic-- because we can! Helter Skelter, baby!

Today’s Agenda
1. A Brief Preface
2. The Final Air Force Drama
3. Ze Counter Revolution!

Good Morning America, one of your newest CoSec Media’s here, with my weekly contribution to the White House Press Report. And since I’m taking the Friday editions, I can goof off because f*ck it, it’s Friday. So, you’re probably thinking to yourself, where the hell did this system come from?
The idea for our new Media program came dually from necessity and opportunity. Until now, the former Secretary of Media, Jesse Anthony Medrano, handled the WHPR. However, he had very little experience and therefore wasn’t able to meet the standards of the Administration. So something had to be changed to fix things, and make the WHPR more apt at informing people.

Our options were quite limited. While we had Custer, myself, and John Killah all around, we all suffered from Secretary of Media burnout. If you don’t know what that is, it’s cool. SecMedia Burnout results simply from being Secretary of Media too long, usually around two or three months. That enthusiasm that makes WHPR’s actually, like, readable, really doesn’t last too long. If you stay on as SecMed too long, you start getting repetitive and boring and suicidal, and you get the picture.

So, the question became, how could we use all of these WHPR writers and former SecMeds to our benefit, without falling to the burnout curse?
Communism

Considering the fact that Communism solves everything always, we decided to equally divide the labor and each take one WHPR per week. Everybody wins.

So, keep in mind that this is an entirely new way of doing writing this, so bear with us as we figure it out. Hopefully it’s a cool new way to do this, and a great new change for you guys, the people who actually read this blatant propaganda.

Yesterday, the structure of the Air Force suffered a serious blow after a majority of their leadership resigned, handing the reins of the Military Unit to those who chose to remain in the Branch. The nature of this resignation is controversial, and there’s still a lot of stuff up in the air. You can look forward to a more in depth discussion about this in the next WHPR, but as of right now, here’s a run down of what’s happened.
1: Roper and a number of AF officers announce their resignation.
2: Secretary of Defense, Avruch, gives his opinion on the situation. While he understands the complaints of the AF leadership, he by no means agrees with the manner by which they handled the situation.
3: President of the United States, Israel Stevens, published an article announcing the new CO of AF, as well as some of the goals for the transitionary period.

Now, as you know, the USAF relies primarily on communes for its production and supplying all of the people that are a member of that MU. Communes, specifically weapons raw materials production, are usually distributed amongst the high ranking officers of the MU, who in turn transfer the supplies to those who hold weapons companies, and the weapons are given to the communers.

This system usually works, except in situations like this. Considering the fact that almost every officer that resigned had recently received money from Congress to increase their WRM production, these WRMs cannot be transferred back, and are now out of the hands of the eUSA government. In addition to this, the infrastructure that can be transferred still has not been, since the AF usually stored some of their funds into gold stocks to improve weapons companies. The primary goal of the next few days is figuring out the best way to retain as much production for AF as possible, and that’s almost entirely reliant on the cooperation of the resigning SOs. Ideally, this sort of thing should be done in advance, but due to the fact that the resignation happened with literally no warning to the President or any of the staff, that option is entirely off the table.

The Media Department New Media Regime will be giving regular updates on the stability of the Air Force, as well as it’s ability to supply it’s remaining fighters, and ensure that the USAF’s damage output is not substantially damaged in this sudden transition of leadership and production.

Breaking News!
Former Secretary of the Media, profound philosopher, and probably the closest thing to a professor you could ever see in eRepublik, Phoenix Quinn, has become jealous of our Media Revolution, and has challenged it! He thinks that not only can he do the job of three men better than we can, but that he can out role play us as well!

Do you agree with him? Is Phoenix Quinn the true master of role play?
Figure it out for yourself.

Just remember Sir Photoshop, this is only the beginning. One man cannot stand up against The Revolution!
