I have been in close contact with the Switz on their IRC channel as well as their forums. I have added many of them as friends in game including their CP Monsieur Guillotine. Today, (2/25/12) We discussed his agreement with the Hungarians that allow them to pass through Switz territory. He replied "this is for our survival." He surely is not in favor of having to be a "motel nation" but he seems content with the pact.

Congress Report
Congressman Israel Stevens
After narrowly surviving a PTO attempt in New York, the 51st Congress is underway. This month sees a lot of fresh faces, as well as some prominent, long time senators missing. New Congressmen are encouraged to follow proper decorum, so as not to make any radical proposals and get themselves censured. They are also asked to follow all guidelines set up by IES with regards to accepting citizenship.
But overall, we are looking forward to four weeks of discussions and votes. Hopefully, we will represent our regions to the best of our abilities, and continue to better America from within.
First Impressions
Zheng "Jed" He of Best Virginia remarks, "we had a long PM conversation with about half the Congress-critters, where long-time members were confusing us newbies with criticisms that didn't make sense and that were sadly repetitious."
Jon Barack Bluejacket of Louisiana is reminded of a scene from The Candidate. "He works his butt off to get elected, and when against all odds he gets elected, he looks at his campaign manager and asks, 'Now what?'"
Ipsis Verbis: [Statistics] Congress Elections Analysis Week08 reports worldwide statistics and analysis showing, most notably, the countries where there were no Congressional elections at all.

The Legislative Branch is the place for all Americans to monitor Congress activity.
I hate repetitious.
I hate it when people say the same thing twice.
Why do people repeat themselves?
And c'mon, you gotta love that portable toilet 😉

interesting
ALL competent articles on the topic of Training Grounds Upgrades will be featured in today's Pony Express.
Can you spell "competent"?
Serious business, people. I will make a segment of Training Grounds Upgrade articles. If you can spell your way out of a wet paper bag, then string together three sentences and add a photo.
Analyse it, praise it, condemn or troll it, just spell it right and publish it, and the Pony Express will boost your readership and subscriptions for you.
Anyone going to talk about the two congressmen letting all the Hungarians?
Voted
Arvel, this edition was assembled late last night for early publication, with the 51st Congress having been seated less than one full day.
Thank you for your report. These incidents will be investigated, and responsibly reported in detail in either this newspaper or the Speaker's Word.
and proof that NY is a PTO? Fail propaganda is fail.
I wasn't trying to be a jerk, I've just noticed we've been opening the door for Greeks & Hungarians.
Wondering if anyone in Congress has an issue with this?
