Why you should join the Ambassador Program
The US Department of State is looking for a large quantity of ambassador for countries including, but not limited to, Brazil, Greece, Romania, Croatia, Chile, Argentina, China, Australia, Bulgaria, Italy, Cyprus, Canada, and MANY MORE!
Secretary of State Evry tells us, "I was brought to the State Department by rumors of hot girls and lots of travel. More seriously: meeting people who aren't the same in thinking as I am. Meeting folks around both the eWorld and RL World."
Head of the eUS Ambassador Program Tenshibo says, "I began my stay here under A^2's first term. He let me intern since I planned on moving to the eUS soon. After about two terms, Paul Proteus offered me the chance to help him run the ambassador program. And, here I am
The best part of being involved in foreign affairs is growing friendships with people from other countries, but eCountries and RL ones. It's very rewarding to see how other people play this game, operate, etc."
Alliance Affairs Deputy David Wilson also shares his experience as an Ambassador.
"What first attracted me to the program was the opportunity to establish relationships with experienced players outside the eUSA.
You never know who you're gonna run into. For example, yesterday I struck up a conversation with someone from the Netherlands in the South Africa IRC.
I also love being on the front line of international conflicts like the Chile-Argentina and the Turkey-Bulgaria conflicts. These situations can have big impacts on the direction of the game so it's fun to play even a small part."

We could just make up a reason, but this time we're totally legit

The eUS has been in a constant State of War with eSpain since last summer. At one time one of our strongest allies, Spain was renting regions in the American heartland with a connecting path which provided them with key resources. But when ONE (then called Phoenix) launched an all-out invasion of the US mainland, Spain flipped and joined them, and from their already established regions went about screwing the US from within.
Long story short, the invasion was finally repelled, and US expeditionary forces cut through central Europe as Terra/Eden pushed Poland and Serbia back.
But Spain holds a special place in the hearts and minds of America, because their role was not as normal enemy invaders but as purposeful betrayers of trust. The Spanish betrayal cost the US dearly, and we have since taken our pound of flesh in the form of working with Brazil and Terra/Eden to keep Spain in a constant state of non-existence. We also have made it a point to hold key resource regions that the US needs, which in turn keeps Spain weak.
We are not done in Spain. Unless eRep redistributes resources on the map and we end up with some Iron, we have no reason or motivation to leave the Iberian Peninsula. Spain cannot talk or beg their way back into our favor or trust. Spain is dead to us.

Game Glitch: Affects battles, mostly, if you can log into the game at all. Nothing we can do but poke away at it, and accept the screwed up results of battles that should never have been run under these conditions in the first place.
Philippines: President Daniel Samarin published A late week update and Explanations, in which he offers some perspective on last week's Operation Asian Dream.
Grab Bags: Nope, not happenin'. Too soon after the last one.

Phoenix has never launched any invasions on US mainland. Poland had rented Regions from us, that it eventually used against US.
PHOENIX has not evolved into ONE, just ask Brozilians, Argentinians or Russians if you don't trust me.
