Make Money Killing Redcoats: Buy Treasury Bonds

In order to better fund our military and help our allies as we make the final push to London, the US Treasury announces the reintroduction of our War Bonds Program.Liberty Bonds will pay 2.9% interest added once upon repayment of the bond and can be purchased in any amount of 0.5 Gold or more. These bonds will be available until the issuance is ended and will be repaid at a time of the government's choosing, likely between 2 - 4 months, there is no maximum to the number to be issued at this time.

Fill out this form to purchase a a Liberty Bond and help your country win this war.All bond payments should be made in Gold via donation to the Securities Exchange Commission. For more details on the bond program and the details on the program and how these bonds will be repaid, click here.

Put your savings to work fighting our enemies and make some scratch in the process.

Much Ado About Alliances

You may have seen it come up in foreign media, that two countries are rethinking their choice of friends and alliances. The eIranians, against whom we have waged war and from whom we conquered Liaoning several months ago, have been thinking out loud about leaving Phoenix and maybe even coming to EDEN. Articles like these suggest that Phoenix could be out of touch with their members, and we welcome the chance to reach out to disgruntled members of Phoenix and find common ground between us. Could eIran someday join EDEN? Time will tell, but we look forward to a joint discussion between our Government and eIran’s, and will keep an open mind about the chance of becoming friends with a jaded adversary, much like we attempted with eFrance under President Josh Frost’s first term in office.

After eChina tried to make peace with their Phoenix neighbors and the eHungarian occupants of naturally Chinese regions, eRussia’s attacks on the Sol nation have made eChina think about joining the same defense network the eUSA has been proud to call its allies-- EDEN. The eChinese media has been covered in favorable articles supporting their entry into EDEN, and we look forward to improving our relations with this proud country. We have taken great joy in fighting alongside eChina during the Asian campaign, and we are confident that we will enjoy positive relations between our two countries for months to come. And for the rest of Sol, we support you in the face of Phoenix’s reckless and imperialist gestures directed against your alliances, your interests, and your homelands.

Take a Survey, Win 5 Gold

That's right, simply answer a two question survey about what attracted you to eRepublik, and you are eligible to win 5 gold! So far, the turnout has been excellent, but we are looking for still more submissions. Only American citizens are eligible, and only those who submit by the end of Day 818 (15 February) will be considered for the gold prize.

War Updates and London Is Not Forgotten

We saw several encouraging events take place this week, including ePeru’s first successful conquest of North of Brazil, our troops reaching the outskirts of London, and eGreece’s advance against its eTurkish rivals. Setbacks did come at us, as Phoenix aggression undermined eChina’s sovereignty and DDoS attacks stymied our abilities to fight. But the strength of our military, our civilians, and our allies has been seen across the world and will continue to make the difference in this war. Phoenix is moving in desperation and running low on funds, and it will be a matter of time until we squarely turn this war in our favor, and move through London. It is only a matter of time until we need to choose between this:

Or this

as London's fate.

James S. Brady Press Room Fields Questions

President Frost has often commented on his desire for more transparency in the Federal Government. As such, the Department of Media and the James S. Brady Press Room are pleased to announce that they will be fielding questions from aspiring reporters and citizens alike. Simply PM theJames S. Brady Press Room with any questions you may have for the Frost Administration.

The Department of Media will attempt to answer all questions, and will publish the best questions and answers in future White House Press Releases. Alternatively, citizens are invited to ask questions on the eUS forums in this thread

Frost Administration Debuts Educational Resources

The Frost administration debuted the latest and greatest source of educational materials for new players on the eUS Forums. Fionia, the Interior Secretary for Education, and Dr. Tango have worked hard to release the first three articles in the series. These are great resources for employers to hand new employees, for friends to share with each other, and for referrers to send to their referees.

Cabinet Made Easy

Did the announcement of our Cabinet come across as too long and too list-formatted? Well, PigInZen has laid out our departments and its leadership in a much more user-friendly manner. Click here to see the Frost Administration and those of us who comprise it.
