Should eChina Join Eden?

Fact: eChina, in it's current form was liberated (roughly one year ago) from ePakistan by eIndonesia to serve as a peace gc puppet (under the pretense that it was a Chinese New Year gift).

Fact: eChina has never gotten land back from peace/Phoenix unless it had a benefit to them (ie. giving Beijing back to stop the eRomanian advance).

Fact: peace (I refuse to capitalize)/Phoenix have dragged their feet in every single negotiation ever in the history of eChina. And not one has borne any fruit.

Fact: Phoenix claims they will NEVER return HLJ peacefully as it is their life-blood. Therefore why are we negotiating? See: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/greetings-echina--1192485/1/20
On top of this, they fortified Inner Mongolia and Jilin.

Fact: They are attacking us right now as I type this!


If these are not reasons to distrust Phoenix, then I don't know what are. They have shown us time and time again that we cannot trust them. They take our neutrality for granted. They push us around. They take our land. How much more will we take?

Since eChina was "liberated" one year ago, I have been one of the biggest supporters of neutrality (and therefore never thought I would write this article). I have been vocal and often hated in that I would never support anything that compromised our neutrality. We had no friends, no allies, and we were (are) surrounded by peace/phoenix. eChina was even leaning towards peace at one point. I was fooled; We were all fooled. No more.

Therefore, using my congressional privilege (lol does this exist?), I would like to initiate a referendum for all citizens of eChina; Let us join Eden:
-Eden is helping us as we speak. Sure everyone has their motives and Eden are no angels themselves, but they are on our side, and looking back, they always have been. They have helped us regain Liaoning at no cost to ourselves. They have helped SOL, they have helped eIndia, they have helped us, etc.
-If the great eAussies can stay in Eden and SOL at the same time, so can we. What is wrong with us being members of a regional and international alliance at the same time?
-We would not be a "minor member state"; eChina is in a very strategic position that makes us invaluable to Eden as our joining would put them at Phoenix's back door. This gives us the leverage to not be taken advantage of or marginalized; To have our concerns listened to and to share in the decision making.

Once again, I call on all eChinese to make a decision. Shall we join Eden? Yes or No?
While only eChinese citizens would have a vote, I encourage others to voice their support (or disapproval) by commenting, voting and subscribing. Did I mention we are under attack by Phoenix?

Please note: I am doing this individually and am unaware if my political party supports my suggestion or not.
