Finally the movement in France that wants to join PHOENIX is rising there.
In an unofficial poll on the eFrench community board, 55% (125 votes) of the voting people wanted to try entering Phoenix (30 votes to leave the Entente and enter Phoenix and 95 to stay as Associate member of entente and enter Phoenix).
But many citizens are still afraid of what you, Hungary, and other PHOENIX countries would say if we tried to enter PHOENIX. Many people think you would refuse our candidature and that's why some of them aren't pro-PHOENIX.

It's true that we never made the step of entering Phoenix, we wanted to give you some time to forget the errors from the past and don't be bitter anymore. Yes, we tanked against Indonesia 5 months ago in the anti-imperialism-campaign lead by Lyne Faynel, yes we refused to attacked USA in a considered as "hopeless action" by Lyne Faynel (again). We all have to accept it and let it go, anyone has the right for a second chance. It also have hurt us when some PHX citizens fought at the spanish side in beginning december and we have understood the lesson.
Now, it is no wonder that we always remained close to you, our PHX friends. Particularly Serbia, Russia and also you Hungary that helped us getting a few regions back ! You helped us a lot during our war. We pay maybe too much attention to loyalty and braveness since the Lyne episode, many of us disapproved her actions 5 months ago and most of us would've considered as shameful if we had given up the fight and be traitors towards our real friends by negotiating with EDEN. This feeling of loyalty pushed us to burn our last golds and keep fighting till our last breath. If we had only fought for ourselves we would have signed a peace treaty early January and admitted our defeat but because of our loyalty we have been under complete occupation during several weeks.
It is almost certain that EDEN entered the Franco-spanian war because of our still strong relation with PHX members. So our pro-Phoenix-attitude was certainly one of the cause of our defeat. But however we never gave up, we kept fighting and kept our pro-Phoenix attitude even while holding our membership of the Entente in the other hand. We fought side by side with our Entente's friends in december but it didn't lead to much success. We have sent our soldiers to Kalingrad in januari and lived with our Russian friends. We were part of some Phoenix operations and wanted to prove our loyalty to our "unofficial" friends too. We also moved to the UK and helped the British people as hard as we could till the peace treaty.
Now, you already did a lot for us, you haven't let us down even when we were almost dead. You have done the right choice I'm sure, IRL France counts more than 65 000 000 people, IRL french-speaking Canadians 7 000 000, french-speaking Belgians 4 000 000 and also many million over Africa, Switzerland and over all countries in the world. Many of these have internet access.The babyboom potential of eFrance is huge, maybe even as huge as Poland was a few months ago. I am convinced it can become a strong nation and important country in the next months if we succeed in bringing up a durable, controlled and massive babyboom to eFrance.
Btw, thank you for everything you've done for us, you helped us in many battles and permitted us to recover our country. Now we want to help you too and we want to know what you think of eFrance entering PHOENIX?

France is to Phoenix what USA is to EDEN. You would only be there for us if it would serve your interests. While i agree that France can be a friend, you can't be an ally like other Phoenix countries, or brothers like some of them.
About baby booms, you did kill one of them, why should a second succeed?
eFrance loyal only for eFrance. Our ways is totally different, you founded the third way after the age of Lyne Faynel; the way of Entente.
This is was Your eCountry's decision, not ours.
You want to bring us only you know ePoland/eSpain is owerpowered against your eCountry and Entente too. You'll need Phoenix's military power and tactical support only for reconquer eFrance from the opressors. If the clouds move along, you don't have any other reasons for fight our side.
We are not in same alliance and I don't think/belive so you want to support us our plans in future.

Few people were more hurt by France then myself than myself back in November. But I think that every day is a new beginning. Actually the common actions in all those liberated regions show our common feeling, common interests. I got my one and only BH medal while fighting for France.
We are on the same side. So, my vote is "let's give it a try".
About baby boom: same story like with the politics. We hope, that nobody makes the same mistakes over and over.
This is not a one-person decision. PHX is not just Hungary. I would support your membership, but you have to prove your loyalty. Yes, sometimes again and again. Not just to Hungary, rather to PHX. Our part is to be patient. That is the untold way of reconciliation. Be loyal and persever then your endeavor shall be rewarded.

I support the idea but sometimes I think that Clawy and Murlockij might be right. If that is what bothers your players than you ARE hypocrites who just want to USE Phoenix to get out of Spanish claws! The fact is if eFrance becomes a Phoenix member what you will have is a body in Phoenix as any other country and will be a part of Phoenix decisions but the fact is that you will NOT have a "leading role" so if your players thinks that it is better to selfishly stay a leader of Entente and than ask for help from Phoenix when EDEN is crushing you I say to finally deny you that help, obviously your players hunger for political points, for seats is greater than you eCountry interest and friendly hand from Phoenix which was given to you in your hardest times.
I bet that if eFrance wants to enter Phoenix and become "just another" member (which is obviously bothering you) Phoenix will embrace eFrance and this idea will always have my support but Phoenix should not be a place for selfish member, you can see what selfishness is doing to EDEN...
Thank you Vukio ! That's what I was waiting for ! A complete and interesting point of view. I think you may be right but I hope not and that's what I want to discover by making the debate move and maybe start a referendum in France.
I think some of the "French political elites" (they call themselves like that) that already were in the French politics back in Lyne Faynel's age, are too proud and selfish to accept to be part of an alliance. Some of the most selfish French players have tasted the "freedom" that the Entente gave us and don't want to come back in a bigger alliance.
Until now these elites were the guys who were making the most noise by shouting that we should develop the entente and that we shouldn't join PHOENIX, but I am sure after having discussed with many French players that their opinion isn't representative of the opinions of the other French citizens. I am sure many of them just want to enter PHOENIX to be "another member" first to thank the PHOENIX countries for their help, prove our loyalty and also have fun playing with you 😉 No I don't think that anyone wants to enter PHOENIX only to get out of the Spanish claws, we are confident than before and we know that we will sooner or later get out of these claws by our own forces so I don't think it's the main motivation of the pro-PHOENIX French players.
I think France deserves another chance and I hope you'll give us the possibility to prove our loyalty. If I succeed in starting a referendum in France we will see how things move and what the real opinion of the French population is.

The facts are that EDEN is rich (partially thanks to game administrators, benefits which they are giving to some real life countries) but they can't prevail over Phoenix just because they are alliance only on paper and that there is still balance in eWorld only because Phoenix still stands united.
If there is no unity we will be destroyed and if we cannot overcome our selfish interest for the benefit of our people we doesn't deserve to exist.
I also think that eFrance deserves another chance and I hope that Phoenix leaders will too but you need to solve your internal problems and to apply for membership as united. Because all things that happened eFrance will probably be on "short leash" at start but it is understandable and trough cooperation and loyalty everything can be different... Good luck!
Ok, let's throw out any old scars; let's see (only in hypotethically) What is the benefits of two sides is few scenarios:
1. eFrance join to Eden - doesn't work, eSpain/ePoland hold her irongrips in eFrance and hold the eFrance's important high regions -> failure for Entente
2. eFrance stay at the present's status quo with Entente+Phoenix -> same happen, and You know that, you writed your article, eFrance politician elite know this well too.
3. eFrance join to Phoenix -> you can get power; success *for eFrance*
Let's see the Phoenix's matrix:
1. Nothing happen for us
2. Nothing happen for us
3. We able to spend many golds and efforts for eFrance, and we get a unstable promise for a divided, weak and frustrated eFrance.
I totally respect your effort and positive attitude, but why and where worth for our side that?
Why don't see same articles from your elite's leaders?
At this moment in my opinion the only one option is a way of fair businness: You paid for our military and tactical supports for golds and we can help you if your goals corresponding with ours.
