Dear readers, it has been 1 month since I wrote my last article. Please forgive me for that and have fun by reading this article.

I think everyone remembers last december when France got attacked by its most well-known ennemy, Spain. Let's remember how it happene😛 It was a hard time back then because there were a lot of problems concerning the fall of PEACE gc, and we can't deny that France was one of the biggest reasons that lead to this fall.

We saw our friends suddenly go and abandon us, we saw every support disappear and suddenly we were alone against a country that was three times more populated than us. Spain was fighting strong in this battle, helped (first unofficially) by its EDEN friends, many old friends who were still angry towards us tanked against France and ass to this the worst organization you can imagine with money spent on useless tanking and you get the result: one by one our important regions got into Spanish hands.

Soon countries that we considered as neutral in the war and with which we hadn't bad relations until then wanted their part of the French cake and began fighting against us. But yeah, 10k citizens against 30k, it's not well balanced but still it could've been a though fight, we had some gold in our bank accounts and we still had (a few) friends helping us, but instead we lost every fight. Why? Because our famous president Lyne Faynel (chhht it seems her nickname became taboo now 🙂 ) spent hundreds of golds on useless tanking in battles that were already lost and with soldiers that weren't that strong. And because we had the terrible idea to place a Q5 hospital so near the borders of our country (Aquitaine and Rhone Alps), when we lost these regions thousands of French citizens were suddenly trapped in a hostile country. Our forces were decreasing, still no hope for help from our old allies and in this dramatic situation what happened? Oh yeah right, miss Faynel decided to flee with 3000 golds (currencies included) from the national accounts because she had lost every support in the French population.

Luke Magitem got elected in half-eFrance that had already lost its only High Grain and one of its two High Wood regions.He did the best he could to save France but less than 24 hours after his elections the second High Wood region, Rhone Alps (with a few thousands citizens) was also taken by Spanish troops. And we had many problems like hacking (just remember this), president banned, bugs (remember here) And it continued like that for a month but we never let the fight down. And on new year's eve we had to fight in our capital, our last hope, Paris in an epic battle where France was fighting almost alone with only Russia to its side. All our gold burnt that night, 1 300 000 dmg was done by France and 500 000 by Russia but it was useless, Spain took over the region and with that our last hopes.

Did we abandon the fight there? No ! We continued and we built another hospital in North Calais. Unfortunately we also had to give up that region after a few weeks. And then, finally finished? No way ! We continued and Corsica became our new lair and we fought again and again. We won 3 new regions but greedy Spain wasn't finished with us and when we lost initiative they walked in our last regions.

Then the fight got to its end with Loland and USA, that forced us to put down the weapons by defeating us in Upper Normandy. Now it was finally over.... Wait... what? No we didn't give up the fight, massive migration to Spain, economical sabotage, civil military units, daily Revolution Wars, hell no we didn't want to abandon ! But I have to admit it was the darkest period of France with many citizens leaving the game (in a few weeks we lost about 3k citizens), many doubts and frustration in the population.

First Revolution wave, second revolution wave. Still no regions freed. And then in Franche Comté, little region without many importance, a fantastic work from our old friends Serbia and Russia and also Latvia and Lithuania (we do not forget you) saved us and made us reappear ! France was back on the map ! And then little France got two regions back, Hungary with an amazing tanking in the last minute in Lorraine and Serbia in Champagne Ardenne freed 2 other regions. 4 on 4 ! We were back in the game 😃

Slovenia and its activated MPPs moved though Italy to attack Rhone Alps, an epic battle with 11 millions of damages from both sides but unfortunately lost. Then, France almost alone (with Paraguay) succeeded in freeing Limousin, first High region back in the country. And now, 6 days ago it was Paris that got back in an amazing battle where France did about 1 million damage ! The reconquista "a la française" is doing fine at the moment and we're still not done but we could finally go back to home.

The Entente was the alliance that helped us survive in these long months of occupation. But for real, what is the Entente? The Entente was meant to be "a third alliance in the bipolar world", they said that it would try to "gather all little countries in one alliance and let it grow until it becomes as powerful as EDEN or PHOENIX". But here we are, 5 months later and there is NOTHING, absolutely nothing ! We were waiting for a good organization and a nice ambiance but no, the only thing that I saw was a lame MMM program that was an epic fail because most of the newspaper that registered for the program have only 600 or 700 subscribers.

I also tried to believe that it was possible to make a big alliance out of many little countries but now I must face the reality: it isn't. Since the beginning Italy, Ukraine and France tried to wear the enormous weight of this alliance on their poor little shoulders. We may even say that France had to do it almost alone, yes it is the most populated country of the alliance but there are only 7K eFrenchs in the eWorld, that's not that much compared to other countries like Poland, Serbia, Spain and stuff. Trying to raise an entire alliance alone is impossible and far too difficult for countries like us. We didn't succeeded in the last 5 months. The Entente is know to be the alliance with the most disastrous communication and organization. In all honesty I even don't know who is the SG of the alliance ! For me since all that time the alliance was inexistent.

But what future could have a defensive alliance by the way? Do you have ever seen a defensive alliance playing a major role in the eWorld? Especially now that ALA has died and that the only notorious defensive alliances left are Brolliance and SOL. What is the point of making an alliance if it is only to defend its country and - wait I have better - what's the point of such an alliance if it isn't even able to defend itself ! Only France was attacked and 3 countries together couldn't even slow Spain in its conquest. What now if another country of the alliance was attacked too? We cannot create an Entente mobile force because the members of the Entente have too much different point of views on many points. Some countries are more pro-EDEN, others more pro-PHOENIX and some even don't give a damn about it.

There is also a problem in the theory of "gathering all little countries to create a big alliance": MPPs are expensive and no Entente country is extremely rich on the contrary we have barely enough to pay our monthly MPPs. Imagine in a few months if we succeed to gather 10 ou 15 little countries of a few hundred inhabitants each, there is no way we could protect them: there is no country powerful enough in the alliance to protect the little ones. There is no country in the Entente that could scare another one from attacking us. The Entente has no dissuasive power. Plus, little countries are mostly not well organized and some even don't have a mobile army. I'm sorry to say it but they are useless to everyone and more a weight than an ally.

And I don't want to be waiting to be attacked and finally get some action. We had that in november and december 2009 it was horrible there was just nothing to do. I played in Belgium and in UNL before and there was nothing happening during many months I guess that were the most boring months ever. No that's not how I see the game. I find it boring to have to fight in training wars all the time where you don't give a shit about the issue. Isn't it stupid to have no real purpose to fight for? Yes, now it's still okay because we still have the Polish and Spanish citizens occupying our regions but that war is coming to an end and then, what will we do?

"Yes but if we could attract a big country inside the alliance then problem solved!" No, all major countries of the eWorld are already in an alliance so to let a third alliance raise and become as powerful as EDEN or PHOENIX are today there should be some problems inside EDEN or PHOENIX and a big country should decide to quit his alliance and join the Entente. No but seriously, you are a big country and you just have left your old alliance and now everyone wants you in his alliance. On the one side you have three little countries with an horribly bad organized alliance called with the horrible name of "The Entente". And on the other side you have the promising alliance with already a few big countries, "Brolliance". Yes if there must be a third big alliance in the game, don't think it will be the Entente.

The PHOENIX alliance on the contrary, raised from the ashes of PEACE gc our old alliance. To be honest France never left this alliance, we always stayed behind those countries trying to protect us from the baddies from EDEN. Now isn't it time to stop hiding behind them and finally go fight with them? PHOENIX has had the wonderful idea to get out of the terrible "defensive status" of PEACE and clearly took an offensive position. That's just what the game is all about ! Yes it's a war game and yes we're having fun by fighting and conquering other nations. PHOENIX has understood that and has proven on many battlefields that it deserved his name and reputation.

PHOENIX is also the alliance that finally got us out of the Spanish claws, how could we forget that? PHOENIX is the alliance that send its army to help us a little country of a few thousands citizens and that betrayed you a few months ago. Without PHOENIX we would've been lost. If Hungary hadn't launched an entire Revolution "Wave" through Poland three days before our congressional elections we would've been under Spanish control for a long time and when we would finally have got our country back anyone would have been able to enter our country and take the French citizenship, we would have been under constant PTO threat and our country wouldn't have been ours anymore.

Yes Phoenix has the problem of all great alliances, it puts the priority where the High Regions and powerful countries are implicated but that's normal, anyone would do that. It's the only way to keep powerful regions to have enough money to continue making war. And yes if you're a small country like us you sometimes have to listen to the greater powers and follow their orders but that's normal and it depends only on us to find a way to grow and become a country strong enough to have the right to say its opinion inside the alliance. We need a babyboom and for that we need a purpose that will keep our citizens busy and motivated. We need to be part of the EDEN-PHOENX war and keep fighting for one side or at least keep an offensive status to be able to find someone to attack or someone to fight with in the next months. That won't be possible if we stay in the neutral Entente. But in PHOENIX however we could finally pay back the horrible months that we spent under Spanish and Polish occupation and we could help our friends that helped us until now.

I am bored to see French citizens claim that we should develop the Entente and make it become a big alliance because they are too proud to enter an alliance and absolutely want to "lead an alliance" even if we are a little country. I'm sick of hearing that we should stay in the Entente and contact all little countries and all be friends and suddenly we will all be the biggest alliance ever. Enough for me. 5 months, for me the Entente has failed. I want CHANGE.

But however for my part, we should not quit the Entente, it is not bad and I think we may absolutely not forget our friends from the Entente after everything they have given for us. But I also think we may not stay exclusively in the Entente and I am sure we should try to enter Phoenix and stay in Entente at the same time.

It would require that we would switch from Core Member of Entente to Associate Member of Entente and that a special contract with Phoenix would be made which specifies that no matters what happens eFrance will never attack one of the regions composing the Entente even if it gets the mission to do so and that if a member of the Entente is attacked, France gets the right to choose if it wants to defend it or not even if PHOENIX is busy elsewhere.

As conclusion my dear readers, I ASK A REFERENDUM IN FRANCE ABOUT ENTERING PHOENIX.

4) To our ENTENTE's FRIENDS (Go back to top of the page)


You know that we love you bro's. It's a fact. Italy, Ukraine you have always been amazing friends. Paraguay and Mexico too even if we saw you less. But even you have to admit that The Entente is not an alliance it's only a joke. I'm sure many of you agree with me. The Entente is just a diplomatic commonwealth and a "name" for the unbreakable links that unite us with you.

You know that we enjoyed fighting side by side in many wars. We loved to see a row of bleu/yellow followed by green/white/red medal avatars appear on the Rebellion side and suddenly the wall decreasing and going into negative. You know that we will not forget what you've done for us.The Entente is just the assurance that France will always be there for you two and that we will not forget what you've done for us.

Many French citizens would also like to see our oldest and most loyal friend in the game, Italy, join PHOENIX with us. Even if I'm not sure it is possible it is maybe time that you think about it in your country too?

5) To our PHOENIX FRIENDS (Go back to top of the page)


It's true that we never made the step of entering Phoenix, we wanted to give you some time to forget the errors from the past and don't be bitter anymore. Yes, we tanked against Indonesia 5 months ago in the anti-imperialism-campaign lead by Lyne Faynel, yes we refused to attacked USA in a considered as "hopeless action" by Lyne Faynel (again). We all have to accept it and let it go, anyone has the right for a second chance. It also have hurt us when some PHX citizens fought at the spanish side in beginning december and we have understood the lesson.

Now, it is no wonder that we always remained close to you, our PHX friends. Particularly Serbia , UK, Russia and recently also Hungary who helped us a lot during our war. It is also well-known that we pay maybe too much attention to loyalty and braveness since the Lyne episode, many of us disapproved her actions 5 months ago and most of us would've considered as shameful if we had given up the fight and be traitors towards our real friends by negotiating with EDEN. This feeling of loyalty pushed us to burn our last golds and keep fighting till our last breath. If we had only fought for ourselves we would have signed a peace treaty early January and admitted our defeat but because of our loyalty we have been under complete occupation during several weeks.

It is almost certain that EDEN entered the Franco-spanian war because of our still strong relation with PHX members. So our pro-Phoenix-attitude was certainly one of the cause of our defeat. But however we never gave up, we kept fighting and kept our pro-Phoenix attitude even while holding our membership of the Entente in the other hand. We fought side by side with our Entente's friends in december but it didn't lead to much success. We have sent our soldiers to Kalingrad in januari and lived with our Russian friends. We were part of some Phoenix operations and wanted to prove our loyalty to our "unofficial" friends too. We also moved to the UK and helped the British people as hard as we could till the peace treaty.

Now, you already did a lot for us, you haven't let us down even when we were almost dead. You have done the right choice I'm sure, IRL France counts more than 65 000 000 people, IRL french-speaking Canadians 7 000 000, french-speaking Belgians 4 000 000 and also many million over Africa, Switzerland and over all countries in the world. Many of these have internet access.The babyboom potential of eFrance is huge, maybe even as huge as Poland was a few months ago. I am convinced it can become a strong nation and important country in the next months if we succeed in bringing up a durable, controlled and massive babyboom to eFrance.

In an unofficial poll on the eFrench community board, 55% (125 votes) of the voting people wanted to try entering Phoenix (30 votes to leave the Entente and enter Phoenix and 95 to stay as Associate member of entente and enter Phoenix). But many citizens are still afraid of what you, PHOENIX countries would say if we tried to enter PHOENIX. Many people think you would refuse our candidature and that's why some of them aren't pro-PHOENIX.

Btw, thank you for everything you've done for us, especially Serbia our friend that never let us down, Hungary and Russia that helped us in many battles and permitted us to recover our country, Latvia, Lithuania (we saw you too), Indonesia, Brazil, Slovenia, and many others.

Il faudra attendre un peu avant d'avoir une traduction de cet article 😉 Néanmoins dans la conclusion est que je prône une adhésion à PHOENIX tout en restant dans l'Entente comme Associate Member. Il est temps de faire bouger les choses pour moi tout ceci est resté en suspend bien trop longtemps.
