WE'RE BACK
Duke Leto
Hello everyone! I know it has been a while since I have last written a serious article (those crappy five lines per article do not count). I have decided to take the time to sit down and write an editorial. I have thought about writing some more erepublik fiction which has been my crowning achievement according to my subscribers. I will be writing some fiction soon.
However I am here to talk about something which has bee on the rise (and I am not talking about how much of TemujinBC’s endless pot that the TCO has been smoking). I am here talking about a degradation between the CAF and the Crimson Order’s (CO) relations.
I am sitting here at my computer reading articles of some of my favourite writers, as well as some new ones that are starting to peak my interest. Next thing I run into is a giant “My-dick-is-bigger-than-yours” contest happening in anything CAF or TCO related. It started out harmless by poking fun at inactivity in the CAF in CAF articles (I being guilty of joining in on some of this), but now some of my brothers in arms have coined the term “CAFag” .From what I have read I assume it means the 4-10 hardcore CAF supporters who bash the CO (yes the CAF are guilty as well in this pissing match, don’t deny it!) while glorifying the CAF by doing so.
This conflict has happened before about 10-12 months ago when Rylde was in charge. My opinion of him and his opinion of me was mutual hate for one another. He hated the CAF with a passion and me with a nationalistic pride and being part of the CAF at the time tried to launch the campaign against the TCO. I ended my personal feud because I found out I was making free advertising for the TCO. Even after this though, the fights of others went on until Rylde tried to make his own militia which failed and he faded out of existence.
So tell me CAF and TCO, is it worth it? Is it worth having a pissing match only to come out with neither side impressed (except Tem because he is perverted that way)? I am just not getting impressed by either side.
My next article will be a comparison of the two institutions. I would like to do a damage comparison of the TCO and the CAF regulars to do a damage comparison of the UK battles. Why just the regulars? The TCO and the CAF regulars’ branch are the most similar in terms of mobility and ability to fight. If the leaders of both the TCO and the CAF could give me this information, that would be great.

Nice article Leto😃
you are right, we should both shift our focus and start making fun of the Praetors.
😁😁😁
Duke Duke Duke!
@crisfire: since when are you kicking dead horses? do you see me parading around and making fun of the CPF and CEP?
''(yes the CAF are guilty as well in this pissing match, don’t deny it!) ''
That's BS. We're keeping quiet in our corner until we have to fight back. When TCO is doing recruitement article go back and check how much CAF are actually trolling them. Whenever the CAF does a media article you hear the trolls charging.
Try to prove me wrong on that.
lol i feel sorry for praetors😛
Leto: i dont think there are sites that provide calc's of the new module so dont know. Or did you mean the previous Acacia eUK invasion?
here our old stats before the site went down, i dont think the CAf has one of these tho http://erep.maxihellas.com/list.aspx?List=TCO
I haven't been part of a media pissing contest and have always been very vocal that the CAF and TCO should work together. However, all of TCO gets tired of fighting for funding then being expected to be on the ready the moment we're called upon to fight. CAF in the government are sometimes among the most vocal, wanting us to account for funding in a way they have never been asked to do. That fuels the fire in a very real way and should stop. That TCO is a dedicated and effective fighting force has been proven time and again, its dedication to eCanada has been proven on battlefield after battlefield. That they constantly come under fire by those in national power will only deepen the chasm from TCO's perspective.
In spite of challenges from within, however, TCO will always stand ready to fight for eCanada and to fight against anything that stands in our way as we defend our home country, even if that means having pissing contests with our countrymen.
As many of you know, I've had a lot of difficulty over the past months - I've been struggling with my own health as I've experienced my mother's death and my father's continuing illness. I'm still playing eRep because I care deeply for the people here, including members of both TCO and CAF. If not for dear friends I would be long gone from this game. I wish we could all work together better, but that will take effort on both sides.
😁 dycey this post is why your the best!
I dunno, maybe relations between TCO and CAF might be rocky of late because TCO lately associates with and expresses sympathy for known thieves and the destructive agents of Mayhem.
TCO was cool and worthy of respect when it was just a loose and off the wall military organization with a great sense of community. But their recent sympathy and association with the agents of Mayhem takes things much further and much too far for many. Is it really surprising that this would destroy the respect many of us have for you?
You can't be blatantly subversive and respectable at the same time. Don't abuse the community and friendships you have within it. Ironically it is those within our community and not outside of it who are able to damage it most. Cut it out, show us respect and you'll have ours again as well and we can all return to better days.
@hb741: Criminal? What about people who came up with the Long Sword Rebellion?
^
I agree with Leto on one thing, this petty harassment trolling is a waste of time and energy. It also just confuses new players and convinces then that they shouldn't join a fighting force.
As for CAF damage numbers: in our September article of The Guardian we published a list of our top fighters in v2based on damage to show that we had more soldiers in the top 50 than any other fighting force, it forms a good base to look at for names to compare to the maxihellas overall list.
I can tell you that the total damage of the TCO in v2 was 479,599 (according to the link MG posted), while just the top 26 CAF fighters had a total damage dealt of 390,743. I calculated the total for the Sept issue. I assume that if we cut off our list at 68, which is the total number of TCO members according to maxihellas that number would grow considerably.
Good to hear the TCO will always fight in eCanada's interest, as we all should be.
Leto is too smart for both of us.
For what it's worth, I'm amused
all you TCO guys just got owned by Roger.
Can I point out that some of these top 26 members have
a)played erep for a while so they have hugeass strength.
b)Some of those 26 run companies and use their money sometimes to tank or buy expensive weapons, food, etc
c)Because of some of that gold, they use boosters to increase stregth and influence in a battle
@chucky:I am having issues finding the article where you and several people have commented against the TCO as of now. I am going to try and find it for you.
Leto, for your response to Roger you essentially just outlined every possible way for someone to inflict lots of damage. Anyone who does lots of damage needs to have at least one of those factors going for them, although more likely 2 or all 3 of them. ANYONE, including those in the TCO, need to have factors like that working for them or else they would hardly do any damage at all.
I fail to see your point.
Is there only one article where the CAF spoke out against the TCO? And its so rare that you have to hunt around for it?
Every single CAF recruitment article has been trolled for months and months and months, period.
If you care to link me the latest article, it would be appreciated. You think I memorize the names of articles so I can google them? I am not superman dear sir, no one is.
