WeThePeople needs your help and we’re willing to make a pretty good offer for it! And no, that doesn’t mean open up your wallets - this is Murica, people don’t do dirty things in elections, right? [/sarcasm]



What I mean is that we have a plan and purpose for our Congressmen, of which the end goal is a better game for the average eAmerican, party be damned. Lemme explain how we’re working for YOU;



#1: We believe in communication. That’s why our Congressmen this month accepted a referendum from our party that each must publish an article. Now, they were given extremely short notice of this. In normal circumstances players might say “hey, we’ll do it next month, no worries”. Not WTP: 6/9 of them (heh 69) put forward some form of article, be it in the form of an excellent candidate’s statement or as a paper to voice grievances with some pesky PP’s ill-timed plans.



Agree or disagree, this bunch holds no punches and is willing to explain matters and listen as well.

#2: We believe in being there - that’s why, despite some adversity, we maintained one of the highest sign-in rates for any T5 party this season.



#3: We believe in making things happen. I’ll give you an example. We have this guy, name isn’t too important, and he’s wanted to be Speaker once or thrice. So this month he asks again and frankly - we have no idea if this will work. What we did know is that if we had an opportunity this month to spurce up Speaker Elections, force Congress into a little activity and get a good man in the big-but-not-PoTUS-size-big Chair. So we took the chance. Congress had 2 rounds of neck-and-neck voting, PMs were sent, votes were had. Bam - We did what we could, as always do, to turn mundane into better.




I said a few days ago to our delegation that WTP wasn’t built on gimmicks. We’re going to be here for you this 25th and all the ones after.
