In what some would say was a surprising turn of events; Molly Jo, the candidate from the Imperial Party who had no platform or announced cabinet, won the election. Coming with a close second was DMV3, with Mann551 in third. Also, it was unfortunate to see that less people voted this month than the past 3 months. In this election 172 votes were cast, while in previous months over 190 votes were cast each election.

Here’s all the information you need to know about Molly Jo’s plans and cabinet:

Her first priority mentioned was to maintain relations with eCanada’s allies, informing congress how to handle MPP’s after a decision on an airstrike is made. She also stated that Ministry of Defense combat orders will be published every 3 days.

Her cabinet is as follows:

The Cabinet
CP: Molly Jo
VP: Aries Prime
Chief of Staff: Mann551

Foreign Affairs Team;
Deputy: TheSocialistChicken
Alliance Relations Represenative: Xichael
Foreign Affairs Advisers: Thedillpickl, I-Bleed-Blue-93

This week was a big week for the country’s finances. The nest egg fund was completed. For those who don’t know; the nest egg fund is like a savings account to be used in war time or if we are invaded. Congress decided a good size for the nest egg was 500k cc. We started off being 250k cc short. This is quite a big gap considering the country only receives about 12k - 15k cc in tax revenues a day where it would take nearly 3 weeks assuming the entire tax revenue was going towards the nest egg. Fortunately, Rylde released an article saying that if 125k cc was donated towards this fund, he would match it to finish the fund. Within a little less than 3 days the money was raised and transferred, officially completed. Now the debates are on where to keep the fund money and a proposal to amend the nest egg act.

With the nest egg fund completed (read above), the country can now lower the work tax down to an agreed upon peacetime tax rate. The rate decided is 5%. This means that when you work as an employee, or WAM (Work As Manager), less money will go to eCanada, and more will go to you. The tax will be put back to the wartime tax rate (10😵 in the case that a war is started, we are invaded, or the nest egg is under 500k cc (probably).

This past week we got a new Comptroller. For those who don’t know, a Comptroller is someone who regulates and organizes the funds in eCanada. Our old comptroller was Brian Alexander, and he was removed because he was not active. There were quite a few applications, and the one who was voted in was Foxfire. They will now handle and regulate our funds like a Comptroller would.
