Work Tax: 10% to 5%; What does that mean?

Day 2,817, 16:52 Published in Canada Canada by Mann551

In just a few small hours, eCanada’s work tax will be lowered back down to 5%. You can see the law proposal here. What are the estimated effects of this change?

Personal Changes?

Your working taxes are halved. For WAMing, your cost of 3.47 per company per work will be reduced to approximately 1.73-1.74, assuming the current average wage stays where it is. This might encourage some people to restart some of their companies that they work as manager in. Overall production prices will decrease, and therefore, estimated profitability will increase.

Country Income Changes?

The first thought is that the country income will drop down to half of what it currently is. Right now we are getting say about 12,000cc/day. We can expect something like 6,000cc/day come tomorrow. My own prediction though is that as people find that they are making more per company, it is very possible that people will begin WAMing a little bit more, producing more of a tax income. Also, the general job market might see an increase in wages. An increase in wages will also see an increase in the average wage, which increases the cost of WAM.

Ultimately, it will take a little while for the market to correct itself and find its new normal, but I do think that overall, country income will raise a little higher than half of the current, while also seeing more productive individual citizens.

Side Notes: More production potentially means cheaper prices in the market.
