They Represent You! June's Congress Statistics
Mr Woldy
What-ho Citizens,
Gird your loins for the statblock that really matters, from what has proven to be a very busy month in Congress! We have seen 3 different speakers and over 20 discussions and debates!
To keep it fresh I’ve jiggled the content slightly and included a new giga-bar chart. Hopefully it is of use to you. These stats currently include everything except the Donates discussion currently ongoing, and as always fluctuating Congress numbers over the month may mean some percentages change relative to headcount over time.
The full text of any discussion/vote mentioned in the below can be provided on request.
Albeit I am no longer Speaker of the house, I shall continue to present these stats without too much editorialising or commentary. It is up to you, the reader, what you make of this information and how it may inform your voting. Feel absolutely free to replicate/steal these for your own purposes … and enjoy!
You can click through the images to see bigger versions if your spectacles are not to hand!
Engagement Statistics
This shows the number and % of Congressmen who participated in each debate and non-admin vote. Admin votes can be reviewed on the country administration page.
Vote Spread
Quite simply this shows the number of Yes, No and Abstain votes cast by party, for each non-admin vote. If there’s no number, there were no votes. For the Speaker elections a couple of Abstains have been recorded under RON to keep the table tidy.
Comments/Contributions
This measures the volume of Congress posts made by individual Congresspeople, who are anonymised with just their party labelled (each bar is a Congressperson). Posts opening discussions have not been counted. This is correct as of 1pm on Friday 23/06 - naturally it will continue to grow but this is as good a cut off point as any!
This is a blunt, and admittedly experimental measure as it does not reflect the content of posts or length of contribution, but gives you a broad sense of the volume of contributions made. Averages for each party are shown below.
There you have it - an active Congress is a happy Congress and as you’ll see, activity levels continue to vary by party. The number of discussions and the range of topics Congress is covering continues to grow, and we all have a role to play in keeping the momentum going - and I mean all of us - we all get a vote!
Hopefully this has been useful, as well as the stats released in previous months (March - April - May)
Thanks for reading!

Should be higher imo.
All feedback welcome and drop me a line if you have any Q's!
Thank you for such a comprehensive look at the past Congress month.
Very enlightening.

That's an interesting graph, trying to figure out who is second.
I can check with the poster to see if theyre happy with me sharing
I think it’s me. I might be third though. Just saying 💪
So posting o7 one hundred times in the multitude of congress feeds or the PMs would put me down as top?
This is an encouragement to troll.
I don't count o7's, just meaningful content 🙂
Most of what I see in the congress is meaningless .. would this post be counted as meaningful?
This isn't a Congress debate.
As for your views it is up to you how you engage with Congress and if you want to run or not. I think it's good that you're being transparent about how you view the discussions though. People should know what they're voting for.
O7
So 5 votes to fund the govt??
8 meta votes of little consequence
and now for the cit votes 2 changes with hardly anyone supporting them (1 in one case)
Actual votes that might matter
2 votes to approve
2 votes to reject one of which was overridden by Ajay (The big Willy) with absolutely no consequences!
I am afraid you are mistaken, all donate votes take place in game. But the vastly more important side is the discussion which precedes them (which is what is reflected in this article) - like it or not Congress have the buttons to do donates and they want to know in rough terms what the money will be used for. We now have cabinet members who engage in that discussion.
Furthermore we shouldn't deny Congresspeople the chance to suggest how they should use their buttons - particularly around citizenship. It would be a very poor circumstance if we ignored UKRP's suggestions on how to run the votes just because TUP doesn't want to engage.
So because YOU don't care about something, the rest of us shouldn't?
Honestly you just come across as arrogant, as if you're the one who gets to decide what is or isn't meaningful.
I have an opinion. Apparently because I don't agree with THE PARTY line that is arrogance.
No, the arrogance is thinking you decide what is "of consequence" or not. Looks like most of Congress is otherwise "meta active", so you're clearly not speaking for everyone.
O7
Seems pretty simple, apparently TRS is the most active and amazing party.
But 3rd in the in game votes. Top of the sycophancy though well done!
It's a shame you come off as butthurt and desperate.
Yeah, TRS is not top in the bit that means the least. It's odd that you think the bit to just rubber stamp the stuff that is going to pass anyways is the most meaningful! ROFL
You might be a Bobloist but I still love you
Comment to be appreciated
great stuff. all votes matter
