Resistance Wars in South Africa, Australia gains a beachead

-Resistance wars in South Africa started late last night shortly before server reset. With roughly an hour to go in the Limpopo battle at the time of publishing, the wall is in the rural area. Meanwhile, with a little more than an hour to go in the Western Cape resistance war, the region is secure by 46k. Again, the ability of South Africa to elect congressmen is paramount. Big battles here. So big, in fact, that I'll edit this with the results if I'm still awake at reset.

EDIT: Limpopo went nearly an hour into overtime, which means it came down to tanking. Phoenix managed to pull out the victory. Western Cape was also secured.

-Argentinian-held, natively South African, Kwazulu Natal was conquered by Australia. Brazil promptly attacked the region. Australia, I imagine, will try to hold on to the region in case Limpopo and Western Cape fail. Then they can resistance-war it back if need be. But they have to hold on to the territory until then, with only the help of Greece's active MPP.

-Croatia attacked Slovenia at Slovenian Littoral. Given the healthy MPP stack Slovenia has, I'm not sure why this happened. Best guess is that it keeps Slovenia from land-swapping into Italy where it can strike at Poland's high-wood Rhone Alps region. Slovenia is the best chance Phoenix has to liberate the region thanks to the fact that the country has a healthy stack of MPPs active against the Polish.

-Training Wars: North Korea attacks Russia, Republic Of Moldova attacks Romania, Philippines attacks Malaysia.

PTO threats; SEES continues to grow

-There are reports that the Czech Republik is under serious PTO threat. Sign up and help fight PTOs today.

-New political party S.E.E.S. is hitting the media hard with two articles, here and here. On a related note, the United States Workers Partyand the America's Advancement Party have declined to sponsor any SEES candidates. I can't say that S.E.E.S. has been universally friendly to powers that be.

MM2 leaves the country; I win at lolcats

-The biggest news of the day is that former Vice-President, philanthropist, and current America's
Advancement Party Max McFarland2 has announced that he's leaving the country. Another one bites the dust...bleh. seeker1 will take over as AAP Party President.

-The new Synergy Poll indicates that PEOPLE LIKE ME! 😃 Which is surprising that I don't like me. Good thing I wasn't polled. Robert Oakden as usual does a great job asking questions. Among the results, he trends Chairman of the Joint Chief's of Staff's, NxNW, popularity, the approval rating of the Pony Express this term, popular support for EDEN etc. etc. You just have to read it.

-I got second place in this awesome eRep lolcats competition. Great idea, Neal Mcwiggles. Also, first place is just hilarious.
