The eUK's Peace Treaty

Peace in the eUK

Yesterday the eUK declared that it would be signing a peace treaty with Eden.

This has sparked some controversy, many people feel that using activated MPP's the eUK could push through Poland, and Spain in order to liberate regions belonging to Germany and France.

However, this hasn't been a regular war, this has been a siege. Phoenix HQ supports the decision made by the eUK Government to seek peace with it's agressors.

The Supreme Commander of Phoenix's Militaries also agrees. Battalgazi has himself said that this was the best decision the eUK could make. You can read his recent article on the issue here. You can also see the CP of Germany's perspective, here.

Unfortunately, it means the MPP's will be closed. This has implications in liberating Germany and France.

However before the UK was attacked, we believed we could liberate Germany and France, and we still can. We still will.

The eUK's government has the right to protect it's nation in the way they see fit. They are not a powerhouse, and this time the best route for them was through diplomacy.

Some people may think the eUK isn't dedicated to Phoenix. To dispel this rumour all you have to do is look at the battle stats, before the siege, even during the siege mobiles were sent from the UK to important battles Phoenix were involved in.

In Brazil, Resistance Wars have been funded by the eUK, even when under siege. Their dedication to the alliance is as strong as ever, and we should respect their decisions.

We should not look to blame the eUK. They have come out of a difficult time. We must look to the future and liberating our allies.
