The Day The Wall Came Down

Day 762, 08:48 Published in USA USA by Bull Moose Newspaper

The Liaoning wall falling as American citizens pour over it.

Day 761 of the New World will not be soon forgotten.

The Iranian wall in Liaoning had been built up to over one million defense points by members of the Phoenix alliance, but the intensive coordination on the part of EDEN and the eUSA brought on its collapse anyway. Many American soldiers could be seen pulling liberated Chinese over the remnants of the wall, something that is sure to stick in the minds of every combatant – even the Iranians.

The destruction of the wall, of their Q5 hospital, the loss of their much needed iron-producing regions, the moving of hundreds if not thousands of their soldiers out of Liaoning, and the loss of so much gold from their national coffers will likely damage the Iranian economy for a long time to come. So EDEN and the eUSA need not worry about an Iranian threat, but it is appearing ever so likely that Russia may retaliate against China and by extension EDEN forces.

Containment….again!?
Seeing the opportunity to do some land grabbing on its own behalf and/or give itself positions by which it can support its allies, Russia will very likely have a violent response to the events of Day 761. Some Russians have been supporting a resistance war in South Korea against the Japanese landlords, and they may use South Korea as a puppet state through which they can attack the eUS-held territories. Yet another, although less likely approach, would be an attack against Alaska to redirect American attention from the Far East to the homeland. History has shown us, through Pearl Harbor and the events on 9/11, that our enemies may strike us right when we think that we are most safe; and so we must still keep all of the possibilities in consideration.

On the Defensive
A stimulus that would surely bring Russia onto the battlefield would be an attack on Heilongjiang. The Phoenix member that is completely dependent on this high-iron region, Hungary, cannot afford to lose Heilongjiang, and members of the Phoenix alliance will not give up those territories as that would greatly hinder their abilities to wage war against EDEN. It will be interesting to see just what will happen in the next few days as this complex situation in the East continues to develop. The World War may be said by some to be over, but the war for the world has just begun.

The Real Success
As I said before, EDEN and the eUS were exceptionally coordinated throughout this battle and most of the damage done was inflicted by citizens. The special forces teams of the eUS were able to focus their attention on the resistance wars being fought in Chagang and Ryanggang, making it effectively impossible for the Iranians to take another stab at taking Liaoning. With Iran completely ousted from the East, EDEN forces will now be able to give regions back to China and maybe even put Heilongjiang in the cross-hairs. Without victory in those two resistance wars Day 761 would not have been as great a victory as it turned out to be, and the fate of EDEN and the eUSA in the aftermath of WW4 may have looked a lot darker. Thanks must be given to the Seals Team for making sure that this played out the way we wanted it to.

Post Script
On a Side note, one outstanding member of the Seals Team, Stormin, will be running for election in Washington on the 25th. Be sure to extend your vote to him as he will be, as some have said, a “credit to congress”. You can read more about the election here, and find his platform here.
