Bad Weather In Washington

Day 761, 13:05 Published in USA USA by Bull Moose Newspaper

Cars literally buried on Washington Interstate as of this morning

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has hailed, pardon the pun, this incredible weather as being the "Storm(in) of the Century" With last minute shoppers trying to buy gifts for family and friends and citizens trying to commute before the holidays, many eUSA parties are unsure of what this election's voter turnout will be like. The media correspondent for the NOAA has said that, "we're not sure what conditions will be like on the 25th, but its almost certain that alot of people may not wait up for flights to be ungrounded." It also appears as though road conditions may be just as bad on election day as they were this morning (see above), and that will not be a good thing for many congressional candidates as some eCitizens may not be devoted enough to log in and fly out to cast their vote on a major winter holiday.

Even with the weather and holiday season threatening to make turnout disappointing to say the least, it still seems that The Bull Moose Party's members are still just as devoted as they would be for any other election. I interviewed one party member, and asking the question of whether or not he planned on flying out to vote on the 25th, he said that, "It's going to be a hassle, but no matter what day an election is on, Stormin can be absolutely sure that he has my vote." It never ceases to amaze me or many other eUSA citizens just how dedicated these BMP members are. It seems that they have nearly adopted the eUS Postal Services Slogan: Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow. If anything is certain though, its that competing parties will certainly have to make sure that they command alot of votes if they don't want to be left in the dust...or snow.

Stormin is by far one of the more qualified congressional candidates being a Seal Team 6 member and an incredibly active player. His track record is very impressive, so much so that highly respectable players and eUS leaders all endorse him.

Josh Frost, ex-eUSA president and Seal Team Immortal, has been quoted as saying, "Stormin is an up-and-coming member of the eUSA's eRepublik community. He works extremely hard mentoring new players and always offers them advice when they need it. He is an active member of SEAL Team 6 and is always willing to take the fight to the enemy when he is in battle. The eUSA congress and the American population as a whole would be well served to have such a fine player working for them in government."

As if that isn't impressive enough, Stygian steel, former three term congressman and former UIP Party President, has been quoted, "Stormin is an active, knowledgable, and involved citizen who I am sure would be a credit to Congress"...

and Lt. Scheisskopf, chief editor of the Stars and Stripes Journal, has been quoted, "With his candidacy, Stormin brings a wealth of in-game experience and gaming pragmatism. Stormin shows a strong understanding of the mechanics of the game and how to best steer the country through a very complex World War. The country will need leaders who can thoughtfully analyze world affairs and implement policy that serves America's interests and protects its sovereignty. We will be fortunate to have Stormin serve in the 25th US Congress."

For being such a relative unknown in the larger eUSA community, it appears as though Stormin has been working around the clock behind the scenes doing everything he can to make sure that the eUSA can keep its position of power, and even grow in strength. This total committment in conjunction with his under-the-veil attitude clearly shows us that he isn't a prime-donna or only in this for the honor and glory, but rather that he is a highly dedicated player who is willing to do whatever it takes to help out - even if he doesn't get a pat on the back. For those who are unaware of Stormin or his platform, it can be found here.
