Beginning life in the eWorld can be a very daunting experience for any new player, and though there are some very good resources available to tell you how eRep works and how to get where you want to be, they can be difficult to find. The Daily Independent has gathered up a list of all the most useful links a new player will need to find their way through the sometimes confusing world of eRepublik.

1. Welcome to the eUK: A beginners Guide. The Very first resource you should read. Written by active member HazzN, it details how to perform the basic eRepublik functions.

2. The eUK forums. It can't be emphasized enough just how useful to a new player the forums really are. If you have any questions about the eWorld, you will get answers from a friendly, active and welcoming community.

3. eRepublik.co.uk guides section. The eUK's website, it contains some useful (if slightly out of date) guides which explain the basic functions of eRepublik.

4. eRepublik Tutorial. An official resource, it is useful for explaining some aspects of eRepublik, but does not go into as much detail as the other guides.

5. The eUK Wiki Page. The eUK's page on the official eRepublik wiki. Relatively up to date, it details the eUK's history, past presidents and the cabinet. You may find information available on the forums more up to date, but the wiki is still worth a look.

6. How To Fight?. Written by our then defence minister Funky44, this article was aimed more at the war with France we were in at the time, but it is still a valuable resource.

7. The NHS Needs You as a Director. Though this article was aimed more at recruiting directors, it is worth linking to so that you know the NHS exists. For more information, its better to visit the forum or contact jerryGFL (the Health Minister), or wazcaster (the Apprentice Health Minister).

8. Unemployed? Look Here. Written by former Minister of Work, Mr. Brodie, this is essentially an advertisement for the Department for Work, which owns the companies Royal Ordnance, Kingdom Hospital, Royal Mines and Royal Housing, and will employ any new players at minimum wage until they find a better job.

9. eRepublik FAQs. The official eRepublik FAQs. They are alright, but don't really go into much detail.

10: Your Unofficially Brief Guide To eUK Government. Our final link is from The Daily Independent itself. This guide explains simply what each ministry does, and how they work.

We apologise if any links do not work, that is a bug in eRepublik, something which you will find yourself getting quite used to. If anyone knows of any other guides or useful information that has been missed out, please comment.
