The Clash of the Titans

The war between Croatia and Macedonia was expected to be a “Clash of Titans” sort of war. Macedonia, the new powerhouse in the eWorld, against the established eGiant, Croatia. The first battle started when Croatia attacked the oil region Molise. The result of the battle was quite unexpected, Macedonia won by a landslide, winning with 8-1, aided by their own tanks and the British heavy-weight Alfagrem. After the said defeat Croatia lost the initiative and it was Macedonia's turn to attack. Macedonia is already busy wiping out eGreece, and returning Egypt's and Saudi Arabia's regions. This operation has been successful so far, and in order to lessen the pressure on its fighters, Macedonia is delaying the start of its campaigns against Croatia until the last possible moment.

In order to completely destroy Greece, Macedonia is closing its war with Croatia. Serbia has attacked the now Italian region of Apulia, thus closing the border between Croatia and Macedonia's Italian regions. The attack on North Dalmatia started automatically in 16:48, the battle is in its 7th round, and its pretty clear that Croatia will win, but this poses no real threat to Macedonia, seeing that after North Dalmatia is secured, and South Dalmatia re-captured, Croatia will have no-where else to go, and Macedonia will be able to fully concetrate on Greece without having to fight on 2 fronts, plus resistance wars.




Canada - Sweden

Sweden is continuing its campaign through Canada. After first successfully conquering the region Scotland from the United Kingdom in order to make a bridge to Canada, Sweden continued smashing the Canadian resistance winning the battles for Newfoundland and Labrador and Nunavut with 8-0. The last battle in this war, the one for the Northwest Territories proved to be a tougher nutt to crack, the Canadian resistance pulled together, but to no avail, in the end Canada lost the battle with 8-7.

Sweden now has the option to attack either Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia or Yukon, the capital Ontario is out of reach because the US have blocked Sweden's approach route taking Manitoba. The only option Sweden has to reach the capital is to launch a resistance war in Manitoba and win, and then attack it immediately after, this plan needs a lot of planning, tactics and most importantly of all, timing. With the result of the last battle in mind, we can predict that Sweden will have a harder time conquering Canada's regions, so this war should Be watched closely...




Hungary and Poland Take on France

After first losing the battle for Baden-Wurttemberg and its initiative, France seems to be in a tough position, taking on two heavy-weights; Poland and Hungary. The following battle in the Hungary-France war is the battle for Alsace, in which Hungary has the lead with 2-0 and a 56% on the bar, and is likely to take that region with no particular problems. Poland on the other hand has had better results throughout the war, winning the first two battles for Lorraine and Champagne Ardenne with 8-0, the third battle is now taking place, Poland is in the lead here as well with 3-0.

The next possible route for Poland is the following:
After taking Picardy, Poland attacks the regions Upper Normandy, Lower Normandy and in the end taking Brittany. Brittany has a sea border with the US regions New Jersey, Delaware and Nova Scotia, neither of which have resources Poland needs. From here on out, Poland can help out Spain against the USA, while the USA is already troubled by resistance wars in Mexico, in which they are losing teritories.

Hungary on the other hand can go through Alsace, Franche-comte, Burgundy, Loire Valley, Pays de la Loire and then onto Poitou Charentes. By doing so, Hungary will get 3 of the 6 resources it is missing, Grain, Fish and Rubber.

Closing Statement
With the new “economy” module in place, which completely knocks out Economy Skill from the productivity equation and leaving only the National Resource Bonus, we can safely say that the “future” of eRep will be filled with wars even more so than now, countries will struggle to find new resources to keep up their “economies” in the endless struggle for eWorld Domination.
