The Case for Ireland to NOT Join Fortis/Eden

The black pigeon is back with a new article to comment Turd Fergusen’s one posted on day 658 of the new world in the Jaunty Mustache. This article was a proposal for Ireland to rejoin Fortis/Eden (F/E).

First, Mr. Fergusen (Yes indeed it is a funny name, especially “Turd”), in one of your firsts sentences you said that you “didn’t even understand at first” the war that currently wage between F/E and PEACE-GC (P-GC). I hope you do understand now because you ask us to help you in this conflict. You also said that P-GC has started a worldwide war against both F/E and neutral countries. “So what’s the point of neutrality then?” would say some, but I prefer to say that we currently got a good position in the eWorld and when you say that the UK could attack us, I would like to tell you that we always been in very good terms with UK and we got a non-aggression pact with them and other surrounding counties that would like any potential attack very expensive.

Then you ask us to help you in your war against P-GC. We wouldn’t be neutral anymore then, wouldn’t we? Yes, we could still keep neutral and welcome your refuges without taking part in conflicts. But then you say that Ireland stepped up against the unjust war of Turkey vs. Greece. This is true because like you just said it, it was an unjust war but in the case of the war that wage between F/E and P-GC, both camps want to destroy each others are any cost, so it is a fair war between two enemies and not between a conqueror and a neutral/peaceful nation. And when you tell us that you would protect us if we join you, well if we don’t join, P-GC would not have any raison to attack us because our regions are low on resources and we don’t worth the worldwide opposition about a raid on a neutral/peacefull nation like our.

“Right now is the time to join an alliance Ireland! The two great powers are ravaging the world, Ireland, itself is without MPP’s and might eventually get swallowed up by hostile PEACE nations. Neutral nations are no longer safe! YOU NEED PROTECTION!”

We should join an alliance? You just said that two great powers are ravaging the world, so you, F/E, are ravaging it too, and then why should we help the world conquest and/or the destruction of our only world? You also say that we are without MPPs, but as I know we currently have two, one with Lithuania and one with Greece, even if the one with Lithuania is only for wargames, Greece wouldn’t let one of is ally fell under attacks of P-GC or F/E same thing for other neutral countries. Like it happened with Greece when they were attacked by Turkey, they were not member of F/E or P-GC but they got help fast and they are now well protected. So we don’t need PROTECTION like you are caps-lock-saying it… YOU need help… that’s different.

“forge a new world“ That’s means, destroy all P-GC nations and conquer world by force…. So you just want us to help you so you can climb on the eWorld Throne?

“I hope I have made the case that Fortis/Eden is the right alliance to join, so that we may continue our relationship as it was during peace times, when we were partners in training wars for the betterment of both of our nations.”

How can you talk about our past partnership if you just said you joined eRepublik in the middle of the war?

“Think hard Ireland, and think well. This will be a hard decision but I am sure it will be the best decision for Ireland to make, and through it, your nation will blossom into the proud Irish nation that I am sure you have the potential to be!”

So all the flattery you just said all along your article about us being the great and noble nation of Ireland and that we were a “proponent of self determination of a country” and now you tell us we are not yet that and we need to blossom, I think you are taking us for Idiots, well not exactly idiots, but yes… basically. Using the word “potential” puts it like we ain’t a “Proud Irish nation” yet.

Well Mr. Fergusen, I think all your arguments are very bad and that Ireland would have no benefits to join Fortis/Eden and that it would just make us a target for PEACE-GC.
