There's a lot of talk about multies in eAustralia at the moment. Well whilst I was serving a temp ban for having a direct battle link in a article, I did a little searching.
I found out that one eAustralian congress member had previously recieved a permaban for a alleged double account. The congress member in question says it was a error by the admins. Whether it's a mistake by admins or not is up for debate. Regardless whether it was a admin mistake or not, that's minor compared to what else I found out.

What most of you don't know is that there's a actual guide on how to successfully cheat & create multies. Not exactly a revelation in itself however the part that most of you don't know is that it was produced by a prominent eAustralian citizen with the apparent support of at least several eAustralian congress members.
This guide was produced at least 7 weeks ago. The names of several people involved is known, what isn't known is exactly how far this stretches through the eAustralian congress or what exactly is in the guide except that it's about undertaking successful cheating & operating multies.
What we all must ask is how far does this multiaccounting scandal extend. How many multiaccounts are being operated by congress members (& others associated with congress members), how many votes do they recieve and how much are they influencing various activities inside eAustralia.

Oh yeah, AW, you nearly broke Citizen Rule 2.2:
2.2 No insult, public accusation without proof, or indirect attack on a citizen are allowed.
You may not have accused someone, but you said Congress members had multi accounts. Not reported, but I'm watching you.
even though AW may have almost broken rule 2.2 we do not know if he has already passed his evidence onto the admins.
on a side note to all the prominent citizens of eAus who have been running AW down in his investigations into this matter, why have you all been basicly been sticking up for the people who are using multi's? why arent more people outraged that there is even a hint of people using multis in our government when through doing such an act no citizen in eAus can be sure just what the govenment is actually doing? if there are congressmen who are using multis then how can the citizens of eAus be confident that a political takeover isnt being planned?
the way i see it is if someone has been perma banned by the admins even if only by mistake then why is it only now coming to light? i personally believe that, the way things currently stand eAus needs to sort all this s##t out before we can concentrate on getting the econemy sorted and the rest of eAus back from eIndo. i find all of this very disgracfull and considering we want new immagrants to move here. how can we entice new people to move to a eCountry when we have all this unpleasntness going on.

Well the problem is this isn't even a "hint". Its like me saying that I know AW is engaged in treason against the eAustralia. Now do you actually believe me?
the way i see it is that with all the controversy over this issue there has to be some truth to these claims. if there was no truth at all then i would expect that this issue would have just faded away instead it is being brought up over and over. if there is no truth then AW will have some explaining to do. however if there is even a grain of truth then alot of the more vocal people who have been running running AW down will have alot of explaining to do.
i would very much like to see the 'truth' that both sides in this have been spouting on about since it basicly all started

There can be controversy over complete lies. just because one side (or person) keeps bringing up a topic doesn't mean it's true.

I think they've learned from their mistakes - if ever they truly had made any to begin with.

It's been my experience that the "truth" (in the ER form) is merely based on words, and as we've seen in the comments of some other players, words can be twisted and taken out of context.

And this guide to cheat & multiaccount isn't 6 months old (unless you have additional information that I don't), it makes it's appearance 7 weeks ago and the use of any insight gathered inside is current. Perhaps the reason why you're upset is that some of your friends in involved. Of course as I don't know everybody who's involved there might be another reason.
Alex & Haugen are two people that I can say have direct involvement in this cheating guide & Cottus is at least a active spectator.

So what you're suggesting is just because the intel on activities may be acouple of months old that it should be swept under the carpet. That's interesting. So what you're suggesting is that if somebody starts a activity against any rule or law & they don't get immediately caught, that there should be zero consequence, even if the activity may be ongoing.

Scandals involve the use of evidence presented.
Pointing fingers like a girl involves; stating a scandal, but without bringing forth evidence.
This article is the latter.
If you are not prepared to release the evidence, because it may break Erepublik rules, then don't release anything. It just makes yourself look bad.

As usual AW, you haven't even shown us a shred of evidence.
Show us some credible truth and maybe it'll be worth a read.
Without AW, this game would be a boring farce of "beg-for-the-state-back" and "never-disagree-with-the-leader".
Unfortunately, what AW has done is made those that support the diplomacy option more stubborn in their opinions.
I think the wars of old (when we lost this country) has made a lot of people soft and frightened.
Its a radical view, but unless we lose eAustralia totally to eIndonesia again, eRepublik (for an eAustralian) is about apeasement and towing the party line at all costs, not advancement.
