Thanks for the support and long live the Spectrum

Day 888, 09:25 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Lemuel Gengulfus

Thanks to the 33 people who voted for me in the elections.

In fairness given that I'd only recently joined the RFA, I wasn't expecting to get in, but to miss out to a PCP candidate by only 3 votes was a bit galling. It does go to show that every vote counts!

On a brighter note - a new inclusive force in e-politics is upon us:

SPECTRUM

Spectrum's Aims

- Initiate a new wave of evolution and innovation where the standpoints of fixed ideologies make way for participation, efficiency and cooperation.

- Promote substantive, not superficial participation in the decision making processes of the nation, by uniting the left/right divide.

- Act as a platform, from which other projects independent of Spectrum can develop and flourish.

- Create technological solutions to practical problems, implementing high quality, user friendly API tools for the country, for the party, for the people.

- Foster a society where the dominant 'old boys network' becomes less important, and all citizens, no matter their experience points, are valued for their vision, talent and dedication.

Spectrum's Mission

Spectrum exists to enable it's members to become influential and involved citizens of the eUK. Spectrum welcomes genuinely new points of view, from its members, and from outside the party. Discussion and cooperation are the basis of a dynamic and participatory government. In maximising the use of currently available technologies, and adopting new technologies we will ensure efficiency and encourage participation in the workings of the eUK. Spectrum seeks to push the eUK forward, in size, in strength, into the future.
