Taking a walk on the ePhilippines Boardwalk

>Implying there is actually an ePhilippines boardwalk, if not, I will make one

Okay, after attempting to write this article 2 times and having it eaten by eRepublik, I just wanted to say how frustrating announcing my return to the ePhilippines and throwing a huge after ceremony party. I had a large and grandiose beginning with videos, fireworks, a concert band, refreshments, and an organ grinder plus his faithful sidekick monkey that goes around to collect coins off of people. But due to the awkward deletion of my article and an operating budget of 0 PHP, I instead chose to make this TL😉R article that is short enough on the eyes and soul.

So last night I asked Hekter how I should word my article, he said something like the following:

(paraphrase): "Hi I'm back, Former SoH, Can into congress?, ePhilippines, not a PTO"

So I decided to take him literally and categorize this article accordingly.

Back

Pretty self explanatory, back in the ePhilippines, have citizenship, and already trying to get myself active on the forums again. Hoping for a few more subscriptions and friends on my list while staying over here to visit. Now a few people have asked me why I moved back...well...it was one part missing the ePhilippines, and the other part Hekter threatening to set me on fire if I didn't come back at some point. Still you Hekter.

Regardless if it was by force or by self determination, it is nice to see everyone again.

Served in the eGovernment Before

Onto item #2:

I have served a few jobs in the ePhilippines before, such as being the Speaker of the House of Representative/Congress/That Legislative Branch that does things. As an example, I posted an opening news letter for Congressmen during the 18th legislative session here. Still hoping to get back into that position sometime in the future, as I wanted to due a better job, but RL consistently intervened (hint hint at the Speaker elections taking place after the 25th 😉 ). But on a lighter note, it was a lot of fun.

I have also served as an informal adviser to presidents like Hekter, and I helped form and create the PACMAN charter and acronym.

Myung Kei can into Congress?

So to check this part off of Hekter's list, I would like to announce my candidacy for congress in Palawan under the Bayanihan party. Hopefully unlike last time, I won't run in a region that gets conquered forcing me to post a picture of a sad baby seal. But then again, I have rotten luck when it comes to the plot-line of eRepublik.

So the platform:

-Stay Active

-Encourage Forum/IRC activity (perhaps through adds or media spamming)

-Figure out these crazy economic changes that are coming weather the storm if and when it arrives.

-Encourage cooperation with our Neighbors and Allies

-Wakka Wakka Wakka in PACMEN

Hope you vote for me, MK, in Palawan! (And also hoping that the region doesn't get wiped ;_; )

Love the ePhilippines and Definitely Not a PTO

And lastly,

I just wanted to state that the ePhilippines is like the Hotel Resort of eRepublik, its a fun place with lots of great people, and serves as a good place to relax and soak up the social rays of eRepublik. Sure, there are a few bumps down the road here and there, but nothing like the insanity that plagues the eWorld day in and day out. So yes, I do enjoy the ePhilippines and its diverse group of characters that make up the IRC, Forums, and media that intertwine and lock in this free-flowing community.

On a more serious note, If I was lobbied for citizenship approval by Hekter, the sitting president; served as a government minister, and have half-ops in the IRC account, I think that can clear my name of any PTO doing.

Still, to clear my name once and for all, I created a special card just for you ePH:

With Full Regards,

Myung Kei

(P.S.: Hekter, I did it! I finished your checklist! 😃 )
