Fionia is holding a contest for the best party update. Here’s my shot at it.

The most important news for SS16 party members is that Congress Elections are coming up soon. They are encouraged to sign up to either Run or Block, and also to be a mobile voter. I interviewed the leaders of New Zealand’s Super Sweet Sixteen Party this week, and here is what they had to say.

We start off with Party President Kyle321n.

Update: What, specifically, do you do for the party?

Kyle: I founded it. I set up the party's IRC, told the Forum admins how to set up our forums and won the party presidency to continue the creation of the party. I also guide the 4 committees and tell them what exactly we're looking to do so the party continues to grow, prosper, live and be awesome.

Update: How did you become interested in this job?

Kyle: New Zealand didn't really have a party with a ton of substance and depth. They were all kind of drifting. The New Zealand Unity Party needed a new identity when Calbe won the Presidency of New Zeland so I asked him if I could take over the party, and set it up for the Super Sweet 16 Party. I told him all the details he loved it so my Dad booked Kanye to play the opening celebration and I got a bright pink Lamborghini.

Update: Are you looking for more people to help?

Kyle: Yes, yes and yes. We need people in every department and we need people to sign up on the forums and get active and involved in the party. (insert link to forum here) Only through your activity will we be able to serve the needs of the people and not myself. Update: Anything else you want to say?

Kyle: To those who don't like the name of the party: What should I do? Should I admit I made mistakes? Should I remind you I've done this before? What should I do? Should I find newer and better ways to say I'm sorry? Should I really believe I ruined my legacy? What should I do? What should I do? What should I do? Should I forget about the past and not care about my ability to lead? Or should I tell you, "I am not a role model." Seriously, what should I do? Should I accept my role as the villain? Maybe I should just... disappear. Should I not have listened to my insights who said the name would just cause people to be pissed off? They're my insights! Hindsight's a bitch, isn't it? Should I just apologize to the party and change the name back? Tell then that I was being a selfish jerk? What should I do? Should I sit back and do nothing? Remove my powers and just go back to being a simple citizen? Should I admit I was wrong? Ask for everyone's forgiveness and go back to my original team? What should I do?

Next, we spoke with J03 Freyer, the Vice Party President.
Update: What, specifically, do you do for the party?

J03: Me being the VPP (Vice Party President), I am of course the right hand man to the Party President. I basically make sure the PP is doing his job, and making sure all of the departments are getting things done as well. That's pretty much the gist of it. It doesn't sound like too much, but I think this time it will be more. I was PP and VPP of the UIP back in the eUS, and I think this is more of a challenge considering it is a newer country and the party structure just got laid out and positions recently filled. It's going to be interesting and fun for sure.

Update: How did you become interested in this job?

J03: Well, I really wasn't interested at all at first. I looked at the Top 5 one day and I decided I would not join a party because none really appealed to me. I shouted that day "Hmm, I don't feel comfortable with any of the parties in NZ. Perhaps I'll remain unaligned for now...". I guess Kyle saw it because he PMd me saying how he knows that party politics are not very interesting and that I should join him in the Super Sweet 16 Party. It sounded like fun, so I did (at the time it was still the New Zealand Union Party). Then sometime after he offered me the VPP spot because of my past political experiences with leading a party, and I accepted.

J03: Always! Right now we are even looking for an R&R (Recruit&Retain) director! If any of the readers are interested please contact Kyle321n or myself! And to give a quick rundown of what we got, we have 4 departments. The 4 departments are the Media (Publishes articles), Political (Elections), Outreach (PMs party members), and Recruit & Retain (Recruits new members!). All of these departments could use some extra hands in getting this party started!
