South Korea, being pushed towards Phoenix?

Arjay Phoenician published this article. It talked about how six Russian tanks helped the South Koreans defend their regions. For those of you who don't know, Japan is currently invading South Korea. They claim that it is a liberating campaign, but hey, who knows? I don't know enough about it to say for sure that it is or isn't, but that isn't the point, the point is that Russia, and by extension, Phoenix, helping the South Koreans defend themselves. Now, this could have either been done by choice of the players themselves to fight for freedom, liberty, and all those values that Phoenix shows SO well, or, it could be an attempt to draw them into Phoenix as another small pawn.
Consider this as well, at the first battle of the war, I forget who, but an American did tank for Japan on account of us being bros and what not. That in itself probably pushed some SK citizens away from the US and by extension, EDEN and it allies. Now, Phoenix tanks are helping them. I think that this move by Russia was to try and get SK to ally itself even more with Phoenix. I definitely see SK becoming more Phoenix allied than before, and that can not be good. If they are able to defend themselves from the attack and pull off a counter-offensive, that could spell some real trouble. Than, if Russia is able to land swap into Japan, we could be facing a two-sided war with them.
Now, there are three ways to try and avoid this:
1. Help Japan wipe-out SK to get rid of the MPP with Russia to hopefully delay an attack on them.
2. Turn our back on Japan and get them completely out of SK messing up our Bro-status with them
3. Don't do anything and pray that it all doesn't hit the fan
Now, option 2 is unthinkable, we love Japan too much, 3 would probably go up in flames. That leaves us with choice one. I really regret saying this, but for our own good, we should really try and help Japan as much as we can. I do know that we would be facing the Russian military, but if everything happens as I see it, we'd just be facing them sooner rather than later. So. in the end, I think we should support Japan in their attacks. I think that they shouldn't have started them, but hey, it's too late now, so it's time to go all in.

I played for 1,5 years now, and i haven't seen a single war that wasn't called a liberating campaign at one point. It just maters what you are liberating and from whom 🙂
we are all doomed
also China wanted to attack North Korea which is basically controlled by russia by going through SK which is why russia is tanking for them.
lets take them out!
It has nothing to do with Phoenix. Plenty of Anarcho/Socialist/Communist parties helped defend eSK. It is more the fact that eSK is turning to the Internationale for support, and the Internationale is actually doing a pretty good job at organizing and pulling through.
As events have shown.....You are not wrong.
Before the war eSK turned down a fully paid MPP with Russia due to ties of friendship with Japan and therefore sensitivity to China and USA.
Japan DoW'd us and still not wanting to make it into a worldwide affair eSK again turned down an MPP with Russia and opted for an eGerman one.
Jankems (your Vice chief of staff) tanked through our defenses and took our first region from us!
Still we hoped that with the German MPP we could hold if somehow, inconceivably this top ranking fella in your military was a lone gunman........Croatians blew through the gates to Seoul and we lost our hospital, companies and high grain!
It was finnaly on the verge of annhilation at the hands of eJapan, Bro's and Eden that we took the only hand offered to us.....Russia.
All our energies and focuses are on expelling the Japanese fro our lands - What eRussia chooses to do behind the front (in the lands they and they alone recovered for us) is not of immediate concern to us nor willit be till the Japanese are ejected from our lands.
Also,
After eSK got Gyeonggi-do back, We approached eJapan with a peace offer (return to pre-war borders) and it was rejected.
We haggled it down to them keeping Jeju for good, Us buying their companies in our lands but there insistence on us paying half their war costs = stuff happening now.
your peace conditions were kinda unacceptable to begin with, especially since you knew russians were going to swap through. After 15 minutes we agreed on a settlement and you pulled out knowing russia was coming.
you needed protection and went out to russia, now pay the price for *protection*
You mean you didn't want to pay? As I recall you brought forward the offer, then started resistance wars while it was being discussed...
You mean you really wanted eSK to pay for eJP's invasion? I thought that part was just political bargaining chips between Alfa and Oli.
We took a leap for peace and both you (oli) and Dokomo picked up on the urgency of the matter.
The RW's were scheduled to start during my discussion with you (the agreement for this to happen being made after the failure with Dokomo).
The withdrawal to pre-war borders and buying companies agreement made me hold them back and warn of cancellation.
But then when you tacked on us paying your war costs and informed me they were a sticking point and you would not budge. After 3 or 4 attempts to resolve that matter........forces were ordered to engage.
All of this was eminently avoidable.
I refer the gentleman to an article I wrote in the US media prior to the Japanese invasion (http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/help-south-korea-1-1354049/1/20), in which I sai😛
"It would seem that this small country [Japan], so recently a 'Righteous Nation', is now in a major alliance with the United States, and takes that as license to wage war against smaller neighbors for lulz and profit. If they get into trouble – say, if eSK signs an MPP with Russia, as some in our congress want to do – their bros in the eUS will come and bail them out.
"Sound familiar?"
Had the US made a whisper of complaint, their poodles would have stayed on the leash and none of this would have happened. The balance of power in Asia would not have cracked, and you would not now be contemplating spending your gold and spreading your resources to deal with the problem.
USA still perhaps has the chance to use their influence to end this situation?
eSK just wants to be left in peace.
Americans need to realize that at any point they could have gotten japan to back down. This is a game after all, if the US cared how we felt about Eden they wouldn't have tanked against us.
