Some Erepublik user statistics

Hello everyone,

I thought I'd share with you all some statistics that I thought were kind of interesting. 12 days ago I released my article view counter, and a side effect of running this from my own server is that I can view some statistics about who is visiting erepublik (everyone that views an article with the counter in it is logged). Of course this is not an extremely accurate sample, but it's interesting nonetheless.


Reporting perio😛 12 days, November 5th to November 16th

In total there has been 41352 unique citizens, linked from 1868 different articles. The article with the most views registered in the database is War, the engine that drives us by Joe DaSmoe, with 5003 views.


Erepublik is a truly international game, with hits coming from 107 distinct countries!



Personally, I was extremely surprised by "Former Czechoslovakia" occupying the top spot, and Serbia, who has several articles with 3000+ views registered, being so low. I have a feeling there may be a bug in the logging software, with Serbia (rs) being incorrectly recorded as Czechoslovakia (cs), but I don't know for sure.

Also, Latvians must like using my counter a lot 🙂



95% of Erepublik players use the Windows operating system.
65% use Windows XP
22% use Windows Vista
1 poor person still uses Windows 3.x.x 🙁

2% use a Linux distribution, and 2% use a Mac



70% of players use Firefox
12% use Internet Explorer
8% use Google Chrome
6% use Opera
2% use Safari



Well I hope at least some other people care about these stats 😛
