Socialists Party Late Into the Night

Late-night vote-watching over at the American Civil Liberties Union

Many US parties -- both large and small -- suffered through a nail-biting party election season this month. This was due in large part to the shenanigans of the ersatz "Revolution" and equally facetious "Counter-Revolution" that has lately swept Americans up into a frenzy of shadow-boxing histrionics.

A scene from America's popular new opera, 'La Frostychole'

While enjoying the amusing opera bouffe as much as anyone else, the SFPers have demonstrated remarkable unity of purpose while this show has been playing itself out. In a nearly unanimous vote of confidence, they elected relative newcomer cival unrest as PP, with a total vote count trending well above previous months.

The celebration over at SFP HQ went on late into the night, with a popular retro 80s band...

...keeping everybody rocking. Well, except for Phoenix Quinn and Sam Seabury, who spent most of the evening huddled in the corner sipping tea and arguing over C.S.Peirce's theory of abduction. When the Apocist asked them what the hell they were talking about, they asked him, "What's your best guess?" and then cackled like madmen. Go figger.

The SFP party election was all the more remarkable in that it brought together a diverse array of players. Some are new to the SFP, some returning from various sojourns, and still others long-time party members who are getting active for the first time.

The lion's share of the credit goes to cival unrest himself. He reached out to and inspired many with a call for renewal of the SFP's proud traditions and a commitment to seeking broader unity amonst autonomous and freethinking players.

His win is a win for all stripes of infidels, skeptics, libertines, nonconformists, free spirits and, of course, that eccentric band of socialists, anarchists, commies and other rebels who make up the SFP.

Once they all recover from their hangovers, we expect to be able to report on some pretty interesting developments.

Report on the "South Dakota Autonomous Revolutionary Committee"

In our previous edition, we reported on a dramatic release of super-cheap Q3 food from the LeninAde Beverage Company, which is a long-standing SFP-affiliated Food operation that has been dormant ever since the Polish szlachta (nobility) established a royal game reserve in that state.

Posing as an unarmed Polish hussar adorned with a single large ostrich feather...

...a plucky reporter from Socialist Freedom Press made his way through the Badlands with help from certain unnamed parties. He was then able to meet up with the rebel group of LeninAde workers who had signed their call as "the revolutionary committee".

Despite their isolation from the American media these past months, the LeninAde workers in Occupied South Dakota had kept up with the news. Their proudest possession was a poster of beloved socialist freedom visionary, Osmany Ramon...

Good news for players!...

While we can't, for security reasons, reveal everything they told us, they did indicate that another even more massive release of cheap and tasty Q3 food was in the works very soon.
