Shut Up and Have Fun

Day 1,701, 22:05 Published in USA USA by Kell Draygo

Looks like everyone is up in arms with what's been going on, people are passionate about this game, that is understandable. But what's done is done, so people need to move on and just make lemonade out of lemons. This is a good chance for those who wants to vent their anger, who wants to have fun, who wants to fight in battles other than the revolving door that is the Balkan Wars.

So however you want to have fun the next few days since the NE passed, then do it. Whether it means moving to Canada to right an injustice or fire up Nave's Revenge, have fun doing it. This is ultimately a game, we Americans play it because it's a game.

For those of you who loves bringing up the old 'Omg the government sucks' ,the old 'Omg JCS are evil traitors', or the old 'U r a pfeifferist!' bullshit, give it up. Stop beating a dead horse, it's been killed, revived, and killed again. Let's not go through it again, it's retarded and pointless. For those who wish to find any excuse to talk smack about the other side and seems to be raging to do so now, I award you this:

Now shut up and fight. And have some damn fun.

Well, fun is a subjective thing. It seems like for the fun of few others must suffer. It is the tendency in other countries also. "This is different so it must be fun". "This is just a game ". And now "Stop beating a dead horse, and just fight!". Arguments are getting dumber every day.

I love this moral majority bullshit coming out right now. If the majority of Americans were against this war, we wouldn't have been able to pass the NE. If the majority of Americans were against it, they would be impeaching Evry, we would see dozens, not 3, articles in the media about it. Hell, there were more articles against the war the first time we attacked Canadia, and we had like 300 people playing at that time.

WIKILEAK: eRepublik is still a Internet-Game and it have nothing to do with real life. I was shocked, as much many others were.

Zacharia, the fun of a few others must suffer holds no water.

Fun has been suffering for a long time, whether it is due to admin changes, alliance decisions, alliance changes, executive changes, etc. Also, fun is not the same for everyone. To complain that fun suffered because of this NE is just like complaining the fun has been suffering because admins suck. We all do it sometimes but we still have to make a choice. Either roll with the changes and keep fighting or quit the game.

In this case, with the NE, either fight for the US against Canada. Move to Canada and fight for Canada. Or leave the US to some EDEN country where people's fun seem to lay. Do something, complaining about how the government is evil or how fun is 'suffering' is lame. The game changes, for some, if the game doesn't change, guess what, their fun suffers too.

One person's fun suffering isn't greater than anothers. Please stop making it seem like a huge deal, for many, in the end this is a game.
