Hi boys and girls of Norway
It is time again. Congress election!
First; PTO = Political Take Over. Refers to using the game mechanisms to take control of the political scene in a nation. Having that control enables the group to control state treasury, laws, alliances and wars.
Unfortunately, this election will be filled with PTOers. Due to the backstabbing by Sweden and the PTOers last election, they managed to make sure they got more players into our last congress. The same PTOers have then accepted more PTOers into Norway. As you know, each congress member can accept a limited number of citizenship requests, and the PTOers have made sure to fill our nation with more medal hunters. The current situation spells disaster for our January congress, but we should at least get as many loyal citizens in as possible.
All Norwegians should be adviced NOT TO VOTE for the parties Nordic Council Party and Crno Bela Armija. They are filled with PTOers. A few exceptions listed underneath.

Some final notes
The congress election allows you to vote for any candidate in the top 5 parties (measured by the count of members). You can only vote for candidates in the region you are playing in. If you want to vote for someone in a different region, you will simply have to move there. Also, notice that only 10 players from each party are allowed to be elected, so if your candidacy is not visible, it is due to that limitation. Read more about congress election here.
Those of you capable of visiting our IRC channel after 21 local Norwegian time, please hold your votes for as long as possible. We might need your vote for a more tactical voting.
This election will be a struggle to get as many loyal citizens into the congress as possible. The PTO group is currently running our nation without sense for what Norwegians want. They are here to run Norway due to the fact that we are too few Norwegian players. That makes Norway an easy target for their own little playground. If we are to win our Norway back, we will have to get help from our neighbor nations. I would argue that things would be different if the players involved in this political invasion came to us and not the enemy, but they have clearly showed us that they are indeed the enemy and not our “helpers”.

Tommy Skaue: Det var ikke meningen å sutre, jeg sjekka bare ikke om jeg fortsatt var på kandidatlisten før jeg la inn første innlegg her.
Så jeg oppfatta det som at jeg var en kandidat man ikke måtte stemme på, men så var jeg ikke på kandidatlista likevel fant jeg ut like etter og da er det jo ikke noe å sørge over før ribba og pinnekjøttet skal fortæres.

Happy christmas Eseerbia, hope you loose to the states!
Ser det er 12 kandidater i Svalbard & Jan-Mayen og 20 i Sørlandet. Dvs si at vi kommer til å vanne ut stemmene igjen på 12 for mange kandidater som uansett ikke kan komme inn. Dette gjør det utrolig mye enklere for serberne som er organiserte og har 20 kandidater som de skal stemme inn.
Da kommer det garantert å gå som det pleier, vi får en drøss nordmenn med 2-3 stemmer som ikke kommer inn og et par andre som kunne ha kommet inn om vi ikke hadde kastet bort stemmen på de tidligere nevnte som ikke kom inn. Jeg vet at det er udemokratisk og bestemme seg for 20 kandidater på forhånd, men vi har ikke råd til nok en periode med bortkastede stemmer.
Foreslår at det kommer en ny nedkortet liste hvor det kun er 20 personer å stemme på, 9 fra hver region pluss to uavhengig av region. Ser for meg at vi gjør det enkelte å tar de 20 eldste/mest aktive. Demokrati har vi tid til når vi er i krig.
Enig med fredrikz her, håpte det var det som var planen tommy. Vi må planlegge bedre enn dette for å overkomme PTO dritten 😕
Jeg skal innrømme at jeg har ikke planlagt noe som helst rundt kongressvalget i denne omgangen. Prøver å feire en rolig jul, jeg.Det beste hadde vært om vi ikke hadde noen regioner, men med det kaoset som pågår i norden nå, så er det vel ikke annet å vente enn at ting ikke går som ønsket.
Lista over er alle som kan stemmes på, og forventes å være loyale mot Norge. Vi kan lage en kort liste også, men vi vet jo at folk må på IRC eller på en annen måte få vite hvem som trenger stemmer. En liste på 10 personer vil i teorien ikke hindre at 1 i lista får *alle* stemmene.
Som jeg skrev, så blir dette kongressvalget trolig like katastrofalt som det forrige, ikke minst fordi PTO-gruppa har intensjonen om å holde på Norge i noen måneder til.
Ser den, jeg er i litt ferie modus selv så har ikke tatt så altfor mye ansvar selv. Er det foresten mulig å få cz i slik at jeg får stemt?
