Dear Russians,
My name is Misho, I'm an old citizen of the New World. I live in eSweden and we are as you know part of EDEN, European Defense and Economy Network.
Usually I write long articles where I use metaphors and where I analyze and discuss things about the current situation and future development of the world we live in here in eRepublik. This article will be much shorter and the reason for that is that this article is an invitation, it present an alternative.
The metaphors, analyzing, arguments and discussions are for you to make. The decision is yours just like the country is yours and no one else's.
All I can say that this is a sincere offer, and from our side well thought of.
eRussia is no longer a desert country rich on raw materials doomed to be occupied of foreign powers, today eRussia is a well populated strong country more than mature to represent her self in all aspects of the word.
I hereby present an invitation to eRussia to join EDEN. An offer for to the Russian people:
- To stop being used as a Spear Head by others and take heat in a conflict of no real use for todays eRussia.
- To start more actively to incorporate the original Russian regions in the Russian Empire.
If you would like assistance doing so I present, along with this invitation, also such assistance to its full extent.

Some of these countries have openly fought an eRussia with a destert population doomed to be occupied by foreign countries. You don't have to think that hard to realize that it was historic times when eNorway took eRussia. It was taken without wars.
Today eRussia can be productive on her own, and she is being exploited by her 'allies'.

When Russia tried to join ATLANTIS back in the day, it was found to weak and Romania decided to conquer the regions instead of accepting the Russian people into their midst. Now that thousands of Russians have joined, and they have become a real threat, the former ATLANTIS nations are 'genuinely' interested in getting Mother Russia on their side.
Well, I can't blame you guys to try and drive a wedge between the stronger PEACE member states. I understand that tactic, and if I were in your situation I would use it myself. The days were you could match or even surpass the military might of your adversary are over, you have a very hard time winning battles nowadays, so instead of trying to win on the battlefield, you try to get some PEACE members to join your side to level the playing field a bit. Perfectly understandable and sound military tactics if you ask me.
Since we all know how small the chances are of this manoeuvre to actually succeed and you gain Mother Russia as an ally, I can deduct EDEN is pretty desperate about turning the tide of this conflict as the only other option would be total and utter annihilation at the hands of your enemies. What will be next for treacherous EDEN, sacrificing Canada and perhaps even the United States in order for relative security in North and Eastern Europe?
what for we should join your ally, if we can simply conquer you.

Really Russia has excellent allies in PEACE. They get to elect their own President, they get to keep their own regions. PEACE lets them control their own destiny and doesn't use Russia as their own puppet nation.

I'm an American.
I can understand why you would distrust the eUSA after our ill-conceived attack on FER.
Since then, I think you have gotten more than even by visiting Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Montana, and North Dakota, and destroying all structures in these regions.
I'm not saying that's not fair. Okay, we should have tried harder to align with Russia.
But what happens if you stay with PEACE?
Your two most high resource areas are held by PEACE, basically forever. They've put large hospitals and defense systems in them. They don't intend to hand them back to you.
PEACE can't promise you a high resource iron region in North America, because none exist.
Russia has become a major world power, and is carrying the brunt of the PEACE assault on North America, and not getting much out of it.
North America is large, and much like in RL Napoleon tried to chase you around in Russia, he eventually realized it was a futile gambit.
In RL, America likes Russia. We both share a pioneer spirit.
Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but sometime, I think you have to re-think that PEACE alliance.
You have other options.

Russia was conquered and divided by Eden nations in the first place. How can they even trust the nations in the alliance after all the things they have done to keep Russia small?
Ofcourse Eden tries to get Russia to switch alliance. They are afraid of the new and improved Russia.
I don't mean to break your bubble but, Norway and Finland recently fought battles with Russia. That's nice and all.
